Some small stuff from a 2004 VHS tape featuring both the 2003 and 1985 Berenstain Bears cartoons (these may be from the bad half of that year unfortunately but no matter now), and unfortunately not much in the way of ephemera since I, lacking foresight for preserving Bay Area media, cut the commercials for the 1985 cartoon on KBHK and didn't catch anything during the 2003 cartoon on KQED. But nevertheless, I did capture the local screen bugs from the era... unfortunately, KQED's seems to fade in and out and is nearly impossible to see when it is on so I tried my best to zoom in on the times I did spot it. Fortunately, KBHK's UPN 44 Bay Area bug is easy to spot, especially when it animates in and out. So their bug itself is not an oddity... but the Berenstain Bears '85 credits being conspicuously slowed down is. I realized it was to make it easier to cut off and plaster the original Hanna-Barbera/Southern Star logo with DiC, Souther Star 1994, & Tribune, which itself is an oddity because DiC had nothing to do with Berenstain Bears '85. I included those logos as well as the partial Incredible World of DiC break bumpers because again, odd. And of course, a sadly only partial KBHK promo featuring the syndicated shows at the time. Again, no foresight on my part. Then again, depending on which end of 2004 these were recorded, my mind might not have been all there.
And don't ask why I was hyperfixated on those Bears at the same time I was trying to make myself out to be more mature in other areas of my life. But what I can say for sure is that growing up it was Berenstein, dammit. :P
