For my birthday, I thought I'd try something I didn't get a chance to do in its heyday due to lack of source material (and the mental breakdown didn't help either). This will only make sense if you've been a longtime CLG member, but to try and describe it as best I can as someone who was just an outside viewer: Logo Surprises/Nightmares were videos posted on the Yahoo! Closing Logo Group which started off as a single logo (such as Nelvana) followed by unrelated "surprise" logos, with Nightmares supposed to be utilizing "scary" logos, though as someone with a collection of these they pretty much became interchangeable after a while TBH. And as time went on they got longer and started adding SFM++ and "That's Dumb" segments, which consisted usually of bloopers and dumb TV (usually game show) moments. That's the best I can describe it, I don't get it either and when I asked about it a few years back on the old CLG Wiki forums, other longtimers didn't know either. :P But I've left that last complicated part out. Maybe I could've done it with the 1987 Max Headroom hijacking but the parade of logos was long enough already.
So, yeah, what you're gonna see and hear is the cliffhanger + closing of part 1 of the Doctor Who story Dragonfire as aired on KTEH, followed by the Lionheart Television logo, then the parade of significant and often synth-tastic logos, all from the year I was born. Dragonfire is significant also because it was the first Doctor Who story I ever watched, and even after THAT cliffhanger I stuck around. Glad I did. :)
I really wanted to use some popular 1987 songs for the opening and closing but I realized I'm already playing dangerous with the copyright bots as it is so I chose 1987 video game music instead. No I've never played either of them (well, I have played Super Mario Bros. 2 on an emulator, so I guess that kinda counts).

Oh yeah, and if you're wondering where my next speaking video on Anthony Ainley is, I promise you I'm not flaking out heartlessly. After posting the two memorial music videos, I suddenly started feeling like a zombie for the rest of the month. I know most of what I want to say, but every time I pull up the document that's supposed to be the script, my brain freezes up and blanks out. Hopefully I can get over that, considering I've also wanted to make a video for my birthday about what I've learned in life and so on. I guess I'll have to merge the videos into one, after all Anthony Ainley is inextricably tied to my life. That's if I do it tonight at all, we'll see how conscious I am after my birthday dinner.
