I have one I bought it new in July 03 I was ready to buy a black one and the night before I saw a pearl blue one being unloaded from a car carrier I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me but I glad I I got the blue one

That blue is the Crown Vic state police cover. 2004 is a magical year. It was the first year of a refresh & 2004-2006 cars can take the full system K&N air filter system~ after that the throttle changed & you can't do that.

I have a 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis LS 50th Anniversary Edition in Twilight Blue Clearcoat Metallic ( Code MK ) with Gold Anodized Exterior trim. According to a plaque on the dash it is one of only 250 built with that trim package including full cloth carriage roof treatment. Your Mercury is stunning with a brighter blue than mine. I once worked for a Mercury dealer in Melbourne Florida 2001-2003 Selling several a day with loads of add On's and realizing the mature clientele were buying a really well-made comfortable car for not much money. Many would drive in from the north- trade in for one of these great cars pre ordered with special packages of vinyl roofs or leather on GS's etc. They were happy campers. The dealer Sold tons of used ones as well. I-95 cruiser with Sinatra playing.

I have a general question... do you recommend ,on older vehicles( mine in particular is a 89 deville),flushing engine fluids such as coolant,power steering, transmission, and brake? I jus did the regular oil change so far.

In 03 only, about 328 Marauders were made in this color and the most desired color. In 2004 I bet you the number was in the hundreds on how many Grand Marquis were made in this color. You should do a Marty report on the car for the hell of it.

Gorgeous car. I don't know how anyone can come up with a reference to a State Police color. Comments like that just take away from what's for sale. A beautiful 2004 Grand Marquis with 16k miles on the odometer. Glad to hear you are feeling better, and I hope Papa Bear is also on doing better 🐻. You can't have one without the other.

Ford got rid of the gas door button on the door pannel for 2004. Also got rid of the clock in the trim I under the radio moved to the radio. Also in 2004 now says grand marquis on the trim below the radio

2003 Job 2 cars (built after 12/2002) deleted the gas door button. Same for the clock to radio move.

Deep Blue Pearl replaced Deep Wedgewood Blue in 2004, and was available for 2004, 2005 and 2006 model years. In 2006, Dark Blue Stripe debuted with Norsea Blue, and Deep Blue Pearl was discontinued after 2006.

The Grand Marquis had the gs pkg wich was the base model also has a gs convince pk wich had leather but manual temp control and most of them had a two tone paint job with trim on the bottom of the doors some had two tone leather seats. Then there's the LS model wich LS and up had free leather upgrade till 2011 ls came with auto temp controls and rims in stead of hip caps. Then was the ls limited wich had in dash 6 disc cd player. Remember the lse wasn't available for 04 so you went right to the ultimate edition with a digital dash also optional heated seats and power tilt moon roof and all models except gs had was available with optional 6 disc truck mounted cd player wich always skipped if you cd had one scratch on it.

I believe that is a pretty rare color also. My sister has the same exact car and color but with the chrome hub caps. 50,000 mile car only the old couple never washed it and hammered all four corners of the bumpers. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Disappointed with this one, Anthony. Cloth cars nomatter how low the miles? is not worth this price point. The color & miles are great. Still, it's a entry level Grand Marquis. I know what you do with them when you get them and it's awesome, bud. I just think this one is very strong. Still, someone will grab it 💯

Exhaust work, and timing chain replacement is all these cars need to run 400k miles, and sometimes, even longer. I have a 2002 CV LX HPP with 220k miles. Car still runs like a raped ape. Converted air springs to coils, but will probably fix the air ride in the future. I will never sell my CV. ✌️💙
