I was fairly satisfied that the fluid leaking was from where the axle was bolted in. Will give an update later if that did not fix it. If you need to test your dash heater control switch, there are some good videos showing which terminals to jumper. This resistor pack(Control Module) is a very common issue on these, so if you aren't comfortable taking the dash apart, then going to this after checking the fuses would probably be a good option.
