Rust under the wheel wells are a given. I'm already getting that on my Lincoln. Love the five gages volt meter, oil temp. That's not a car it's an Abram tank. It can go another 250,000 miles with no sweat. Just keep up the maintenance. Your right it will ride better with the right size tires all around. Great review Thanks.
My 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis is sitting at 220k. I bought it from Florida so no rust. Smooth and clean ride. I'll send pics. I also have a 2013 Ford Taurus Interceptor 100kI just bought. Ive always had the Panther Platform but couldnt pass up the deal on 2013 PI.
Right on Art, You are knocking it out of the park with these reviews. These hubcaps are my all time favorite for any Panther Car, (2004-2005 only). This filming location was awesome, best location so far. Still need to work on your audio quality though. That's the last piece of "your" puzzle. lol -Chuck
Thanks Chuck! I really enjoyed doing this one as well. The sound…it was windy so I had the mic close to my mouth. Location is near my place so it’s close and effective.
Hey Bart it’s a temporary license plate for a short period of time to get the vehicle in order before inspection or if you have to drive the vehicle across the country or something along those lines. It’s given by the department of motor vehicle
Not sure if this has been clarified yet, but that would be the optional extra wiring prep package and bracket for it. Which, looks like it was never used anyways; very odd.
Thanks for stopping by! Nobody said anything about the wiring just yet, you the first one, so thanks for your input! What kind of equipment would be hooked up to all that wire and it being in the trunk?
@@LoveWhatYouDrive good observation too, that indent in the headliner and cut outs in the B pillar covers indicate that it did have a partition. Most of them that did have one, had upper support brackets that would require them to go through those. I think mine had a progard brand partition, as the indent is very subtle in the headliner and the only indications of the upper support brackets are the imprints in the seals/weather stripping. And I don’t think the upper B pillar covers have ever been removed.
@@LoveWhatYouDrive I’m not sure when it started, but I didn’t see any sign that a equipment fan was mounted above where that extra wiring is. There would’ve been a metal vented panel bolted to the carpet panel above. Some agencies went with specific equipment that required specific builds and set ups. I don’t know specifically what all that is; especially since it looks like it was never really used.
That’s what I thought, but I don’t claim to k ow all the fine details and are open to learning, it also has a hole where the badge would be inserted i believe. Thanks for clarifying
