I just bought a Focus C-Max from 2004. Previous life unknown, supposedly either German or Austrian, with periods is Slovakia. Has a shot pair of front brakes (to be fixed next month), a snapped spring in the back, and a dying cat. Cat aftermarket is so rare, there was a spare one in a warehouse. All other instruments and most parts are shared with Fiesta, Focus and maybe Mondeo models. The Ti-VCT 1.6 is just such a beast after a SOHC korean engine, I'm NEVER selling this car. Need to change the cambelt and timing components, but if it is done in April AND in May it gets its new pair of shoes (4 season Apollos) along the new cat, I am going to give it some. These cars are awesome! Never had an idea how well they can behave for generic use, until a colleague of mine let me drive her diesel Mondeo. It had dying atomizers, still it was plenty powerful. And it has been fixed since. For what they offer, I believe they are the right car to get.

worst car I had so far.. all bushings + shocks in the front were gone (handling was terrible because of this), engine mounts were gone, the engine sounded awfull at highway speeds with to short gears and almost no sound insulation, speaker in the rear door failed, leaks in the trunk and beginning rust at the front and rear wheel arches.. the car had only 130000 km's on the clock

@@damianursusc362 miałem mk1 i właśnie tak mi się wydawało. W wersji Ghia był fajnie wyciszony i przy 140 dało się spokojnie rozmawiać. Nie powinni tego psuć.
@@maciejbochnacki prędkość maksymalna jest zmniejszona jakieś 15km / km względem MK1/MK2 . Nawet według danych na papierze 1 lepiej się zbiera mimo dłuższej skrzyni ale jest lżejszy od MK2.
Absolutely terrible, and overrated car, I hate it. Expensive to maintain, lot of failures despite frequent and careful maintenance, finally it burns fuel like a tank. The day I send this piece of junk to scrapyard will be the favourite day of my live. Even on the video has check engine light on. Pathetic
