I agree with you. They weren't the best on the market at the time, but not the worst either. I think overall they are a reliable source of transportation. And I think they are comfortable too.

I had this SUV a few years ago, miss the great time I had with it. GM should make a new version of this SUV

Love these Envoys I actually own two! An 03' SLT XL version with the 4.2 inline 6 with over 289,000 miles & still runs like a champ! Also a 05' Denali XL with the 5.3 v8 that I bought for $250 because engine & trans were sold as he was parting it out. Can't wait to get him up & running have big plans for him! Great SUV's can't find another out there with it's utility & frame period!

I just bought the same car a few weeks ago. I love it. I only have 2 dislikes with it. u have quite the blind spot In the middle of the car where the big rear view mirror is. 2nd- with having power seats, the seat sits up so high so u have very little room between your head and ceiling. which is probably why I have problems with the middle being a blind spot cause you sit almost above the rear view mirror

very nice. well taken care of. my friend has one he loaned me and granted I'm not a huge fan of GMC I did love his envoy. it is a gas pig but loved it. excellent winter car :)

You did a good job in this review! I was hoping consumer Reports review would be available to watch, but you covered all I was wanting to know. I have been checking the Lots for this "Family" of SUV's. These have the Muscle to haul a House, never mind a Horse (in a Trailer). I guess right, that the Power does not come cheap! I would like this size of SUV, but maybe should try to limit Myself to the next size down. A co worker 2 Years ago bought a 2010 Suburban, & Loved it at first but soon was complaining about it's thirst, & traded it for a Jeep.

Actually for the time I think it's the best American mid size. I have one for knock around purposes, use the 4X4 every time I drive it because I live on a mountain. Smooth ride and average 19 mpg, I can live with that. That's a nice SLT he has.

Interesting that they got rid of the auto-dimming rear-view mirror. Otherwise, not much different than my '02. I do get better mileage, but I also baby the heck out of the gas pedal. One question: Is your built-in air compressor loud and annoying also? Nicely done with the tour.

My dad's Jeep Commander gets a little bit worse fuel economy... About 12.7-13.5 on my commute to school... But I have to drive on a really hilly road so I think I could get much better fuel economy if I didn't have to use that road. Anyway, great video!

Wow, great review! I can honestly say personally from seeing this and the car's controls and interior, this car is pretty much crap. IMO the only good thing about it is the back control center and the 3 power outlets in the front which was even still immensely irrational for me. The fuel economy on this thing is so bad oh my goodness, but I mean, I guess the car is a SUV and is usually used for towing boats and such. I also think that GMC should've put at least a 3rd row seat in the car, or manufactured models that would accommodate a 3rd row seat. Great review nevertheless!
