2005 honda civic aftermarket radio upgrade

So I linked the one I got in the description. It’s the second one down. I did this video about a year ago and I can say I have had no complaints with the system I chose.

The big harness that came with it was so you didn’t have to cut any of the factory wiring. It will adapt the plug from your factory set up to the new plug because that way it is reversible and as far as the smaller wires I was talking about I never actually figured out what they were for. I just assumed it was for if you had a bigger speaker set up but if you buy the same kit, I did you will only need the big wiring harness And something I found out when I was putting a radio in my new car you can buy the wiring harness from Walmart.

As far as the radio, it powers on just fine. The only thing that doesn’t work is the backup camera because I never installed it.
