@@WMCS I already know it will! The engine is simple, the wiring harness unplugs and can come out with the engine and then be transferred with all the accessories. There's lots off room in the engine bay, I'm gonna drop the engine out the bottom.
Great work! I’m so impressed! I have a V50 1.8 Flexifuel 2007 (B4184S8) and I plan to replace the clutch. Do you know of its the same procedure for me? Many thanks!
what can be the reason for that after clutch replacement, driveshaft is making quiet noise during acceleration like "rubbing"??? looking forward to reply thx
semen drinker 247 I always use the marking on the body where the subframe attaches.... be sure to undo the steering column attachment that links into the steering rack. From the footwell by means of a 10mm bolt. ... take caution that the steering wheel is locked. If the steering wheel spins freely you’ll have a problem with the angle sensor. ... once the column is detached you should be safe to lower one side of the subframe without tugging on the steering side. That rack itself can stay in situ.
lg lg I’ve gone back and check with regards to the V70.. there are two different models. What year is yours. The earlier model. The whole engine and gearbox is resting in the subframe. And that will require some major surgery. If it’s the later one then it should resemble this one. Maybe you’ll have to slightly drop one side of the subframe. But let me know the year of your car.
I had make the same opération on Ford focus 2 duratec HE 2.0 with Mtx75 gearbox... Hard job....complet change with flywhell. Exactly same steps...need Many Time. 😡😡
