The mount you held up at the end is what my motor mount looks like. I own a 2008 impala. The transmission mount on mine I suspect is going out but it looks different than that one you showed. I guess ours are different?
I've been hearing a mildly annoying but very noticeable clicking sound coming from the left side front of my 14 Impala too for the past 5 or so weeks. It was mostly when shifting but now it's even when I start and stop moving. My usual mechanic thought it was a transmission shifting issue so he recommended I take it to their transmission guy to see what he thinks. He said he couldn't figure it out either. Paid him 70 bucks and he said don't worry about it right now. Could be the beginning of a bad motor mount. I'll bet we can both disagree and say to take it back and have them change that transmission mount. Thanks to your video I think I'll be doing that soon.
