Wow! My 2006 just got drenched , Windows, sun roof, lights all go off n on, in the morning that frikkin thing and the batter is coming out getting clean up...great ! Thanks so much
A/re you saying that by simply matching the numbers on the unit, you do not need to program the new one. No eprom data swap. Flash or p flash. Nothing?
The exact problem I had with my Audi i couldn’t find the same model ended up installing BC instead of AR and the heating system didn’t work the doors do not lock so request to all don’t leave your Audi’s in the open if you are not driving for long time where leaves and rain water can be clogged up if you really have just take out the battery and make a better drainage system for the leaves and water to flow smoothly so that the water won’t find ways to reach the cockpit and mess up the comfort control module.
I had to remove CCM today for same waterful reason. Such electronics is in very bad location so i was thinkin to just put empty eclosure where it was and relocate ccm module box somewhere upper below dashboard depending on how far cables can reach.
There is a vid here youtube which shows a guy doing just that. drops the kick plate above the driver footwell, under the steering, ziptied it up, put the cover back on.
Hi, maybe you can watch my video too! Might be helpful to you! Here is a video of me coding the comfort system of an Audi car online with a diagnostic device: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rQtB1g_Y69U.html . There are many other videos on my homepage, you can check them out if you are interested. Of course, your follow is also welcome!
This helped sooo much 😭 Im going through the same problem with the flooding to the ccm. If the ccm is damage is it likely that the wires are shot too? (I can't get to them right now to check)
I swapped the ccm cause nothing on the driversode had power.. swapped the units and thr windows still doesn't roll down..now the doors and the trunk doesn't open via fob
I have a 2009 with no power, the key fob isn’t recognized and the hazards switch doesn’t work either. Also the high beams switch has no power any ideas would be helpful

My comfort control module got wet I replaced it and Horan windshield wipers turn signals windows convertible top all don’t work Fuses are still good what could be the issue
@@Brandon-id1td I’ve recently had problems with mmi on my A5. I took as much of it as I could to my local electronics repair shop and they checked it out and replaced components.
As far as I know...NO! CECM located under the drivers side dash does?... CCM mostly controls, key fob reception, convenience items, power locks, puddle lights alarm remote entry etc.
I have a right hand drive Audi A4 2006, windows, sunroof and remote key fob are not working, found some moisture on the carpet on the right side passenger well. sound like the same problem,
Another extremely shitty mistake by German so-called expert engineers. Hey, let's make it so if you store it ANYWHERE except in a garage, that it will clog and storms will ruin everything.
