In this video, we have a simple DIY project that upgrades/replaces the stock speakers in your 2006-2012 Mitsubishi Eclipse. This installation was performed on a 2008 Eclipse with the Rockford Fosgate premium sound system. However, it should be the same regardless of your vehicle trim.

Hi!! Subscribed!! Does it really worth to swap the RF speakers? Can you feel the big differences? I also got RF sound system on my 4g

Hello, for these speakers they are pretty similar to the stock ones. However they definitely sound more “defined” if that makes sense. I got these on sale and they’re almost like a budget speaker, so if you upgrade I’d recommend getting something better. With my Rockford Fosgate speakers, I was getting some distortion and buzzing on higher volumes. With the Kicker speakers, they’re crisp all the way up to 45 (max) volume. I’d recommend upgrading if you want a higher quality sound.

How’s it going. I’m not sure on speaker sizes, but I would recommend going with a different model if anything. My passenger side speaker is already sounding distorted. Thinking of upgrading to something better.
