Performed on 2007 Audi Q7, similar to Cayenne and Touareg Front right lower control arm is part #7L8407152B Front left lower control arm is part #7L8407151B
Good video, thanks. I have a 2007 Touareg and need to replace the upper and lower control arms on both sides. Will order the parts online and take them to a mechanic to save some money.
Nice & Informative video on replacing the front lower control arms !! The bolt and the lock washer can be quite confusing to remove, if you do not know how they were manufactured !!
Hey dude, this is a great video. I am running into a similar problem like you, where I remove the nut and washer on one side and now the bolt is being a little bit stubborn in terms of coming out, and it’s on the same side that you mentioned in your video. Any hacks for me to get it out safely, it does turn when I use the spanner (nut is already off on the other side of it) but it’s quite stiff. I’ve sprayed it with a lubricant overnight hoping it will loosen up a little bit but I’m worried that it will have to be cut which is something I really don’t want to do. Any advice pal?!
