Toyota Yaris NST NonStop Tuning Short Shifter Torque Solutions SlowKart
In this video I show how I upgraded my stock shifter with the NST Short Shifter Kit and Torque Solutions Shifter Cable Bushings on my 2007 Toyota Yaris. This upgrade resulted in a shorter shifter height, throw, and overall more confident shifts.

Definitely appreciate the video I didn't think there would be any NST shifter install for a 07 Yaris it really made the install easier for me definitely I'm following your channel. The difference is night and day shifting gears!!!

Also the height of the knob is higher where as the short shifter that you showed was shorter than the stock. This one is higher than stock but what I was looking for and sooooo happy with it

Thanks for the video sir. I’ve really enjoyed this series so far, very informative. I’ve got an ‘08 Sedan Sport, great little car. I just installed the NST SSK on my Yaris yesterday and it’s even better than I expected. I appreciate the detail in these videos, and I’m looking forward to seeing how this car turns out.

Hey buddy haven’t talked to you for awhile. But I wanted to share with you this bit of info. I seen another video about race Yaris and he got a shifter from WK motorsports. So I bought one. I love it!!!!! And I did not have to do anything more that swap out the stock shifter and install the new one. NOW it is $540 shipping included from china but it is awesome!!!!!! So if your looking to go that route let me send you the link and enjoy

Thank you very much for the info! I've looked at the WK Motorsports and also RZR Shifters (these are a little bit more expensive but are handmade by one guy). I'm planning on upgrading sometime next year with a new shifter. I like the NST shifter for what it is BUT I really miss the feel of my previous car that was K swapped with a hybrid racing shifter. So a shifter upgrade is most likely going to be in the future soon!

Glad to see someone modding the Yaris. Does the NST shifter lower the height of the knob by a lot? I really like the stock shifter height.

Hi there the NST Shifter lowers the height of the shifter by roughly 1.5". It's definitely shorter. Once I drive it I'll report back and let you know how it is on the road. One other option I recently found was RZR shifters, they are a handmade shifter box. They are quite a bit more money than the NST kit BUT the craftsmanship and quality looks to be next level plus they have tons of adjustments.
