In this episode I will be trying to start my 2007 Cadillac EXT to see if it will run. this truck has been sending for almost 2 years in the same spot. I will do a walk around and explore what 2 years will do to a vehicle.
Great video...! I have a 07 Ext Black exterior and dark charcoal grey interior with 234,000 on the clock and still runs like a beast... 405 Horses... i have replaced the headlight bezels, all 4 outside door handles, rear airshocks and the onboard compressor, front brake spindles, cam sensor, throttle body sensor, and the accelerator pedal with sensor... purchased the truck in May of 2011 with 43,000.... Love the truck.. put my wife in a 2017 escalade a few months ago so I could get her out of my 95 vette and the dealer told me he'd give me $1000 for my 07 escalade.. I said NO..!
I love mine as well. I use mine as a "work truck" and have had many years of service from it. It definitely needs some love but I just keep driving it. At some point soon I'm going to be showing her some love. Thanks for watching!
By the way, my daily is a 2008 Dodge Nitro. 6 speed manual. The factory clutch finally went out at 298,000 miles. She now has just around 310,000 and still going. Best thing is, she’s paid for. Has been since 2012. I guess I’ll upgrade sometime this next year, but I’m keeping the Nitro as it came with the Lifetime Chrysler power train warranty. They replaced the oil pan gasket due to a leak earlier this year and it cost me $00.00.
Owner of a 2007 Sport Srx and this is a Gem! Love trucks, got rid of my 2014 SEMA Truck Built F250 Crew Cab and it is the best of Both TRUCK and CADILLAC 💞😛 BEST OF LUCK NEW SUBSCRIPTION 👍
I love mine but it's going to have to have the transmission rebuilt soon. Even with that it's still one of my favorite vehicles of all time. Thanks for watching.
It has the front air shocks deleted but I'm still running the rear. It helps when I'm pulling a trailer. The lift is a 4" skyjacker lift. I got it from Skyjacker but I don't think the still makes the exact kit. The Skyjacker C7361ARK-R kit looks similar though.
My kit only came with new springs and shock extenders. So I kept the tear shocks. The front struts were already deleted when I bought my truck but it could have still Ren the air shocks. The kit came with the leveler extensions.
@@ForsakenSteel how has the skyjacker lift held up over time? How is the ride on it? Also does the kit consist of a front shock and rear spring with shock extender? I think I found the kit on their site, how much did you pay if you don't mind me asking? I think it's listed for around 2 grand
The kit has held up very well. It has front spacers with lower control arm relocation brackets. The rear has new springs and shock extenders. You just use the existing shocks and struts. It also came with new front and rear sway bar end links. My truck still ride's like a Cadillac. I would definitely buy from them again.
Just bought one last week I got the suv escalade 6.2 liter so far I bought new battery new spark plugs new speakers now I want to refresh the top end with new cam new lifters and rods but too dam cold but I love the truck
You actually have to change the entire valve body to the best of my knowledge. However I changed the trans fluid a couple years before it started acting up and it looked like coffee. So it time to just replace the trans.
Well there for an avalanche but I heated them up to contour around the vent. I bought the cheapest ones on eBay about 3 years ago. I would recommend buying a better brand. Hope that helps in some way.
@@ForsakenSteel so question , they say they dont make flares for the ext but the avilanch is similar just a lil different front fenders than the caddy. Do you happen to know of those are avi flares? I assume you mist be able to make them work?
@@kevinbryant6459 I bought a set of the cheapest flairs for an Avalanche I could find on ebay. The only thing that needs to be different is where the vent is on the fender. I marked the vent on the flair then heated it with a heat gun and made it into the shape I wanted. I had to trim that spot up some so it would fit. Then boom I have an EXT flair. The back blots up with no modifications.
@@ForsakenSteel awsome ! Thanks for the response, i figured they could work👍i subbed to your channel cant wait to see whats next for yours, i have an 07 ext as well with a 6.5 lift on 35" tires with 7400 miles i love these trucks still!
