You say nothing special, but your process is what is special. Logic and facts no guess work, breaking down the circuit understand what should be present and by process of elimination correct the problem. Genius! Thanks for the lesson
Well, right when I assumed these 07 Chevy truck were relatively untouched by the postmodern gremlin... You explained that unusual little cable and plug going to the negative leg of the battery. I'm glad I checked this video out, you taught me something today! Thanks man. 👍🏼👍🏼 Still this is much more acceptable compared to truck cabs in the engine bay and engines mounted under the cabs with way too many electronics. Not my truck, I'm a 2000 TJ guy or motorcycles. Coil packs and cam sensors are all I want to see go bad. Yet, Jeep can't stop inserting more electrical crap into the engine bay themselves ...
I have a 2012 1500 that was doing the exact same thing, I started looking around at all the wires that run to the battery and alternator turns out there’s a wire that runs to the top of the alternator that’s was barely unplugged pushed it back in and stopped the issue immediately
04 Silverado diagram a little different. I’m having a battery not charging issue. Alt and battery have been replaced, even replaced the tensioner and pulley still showing Anybody have any ideas? Any fuses to look for, no frayed wires that I can see. I have no fuckin clue only form of transportation too
mine doing same exact thing but my fuse is good. idk whats wrong with it mines charging at 14.56 volts but battery light is on and my fuse is good so idk whats going on.
Wish mine was that easy. Every fuse is good, cables are good, battery good, put a new alt on and it worked great for 2 days charging great and back to no charge. Put another one on and 3 days ran and charged great then it kicked on the battery light and no charge. Barely made it home guess I gotta buy me a better code scanner. 2011 silverado 1500 5.3 this one has completely baffled me and first thing I've never been able to figure out. Any help anyone? Is this a common problem? Is there a fix? Should be a recall for this terrible altercation of a great system that didn't need messed with
I put the old alt back on and it works fine again just weak. All I can guess is they gave me the wrong alt or got 2 bad alts in a row. I'll just keep running that one till it goes out
The spectacular part is That judging for the pic on dash. That belongs to a Hispanic people You will probably charge 250 dollars no pesos for that little fuse Am I. Rigth?
What does the race of the owner have to do with the fact he is working on a vehicle? Im assuming you go into work and say it's ok boss im gonna work for free? Years of knowledge and testing equipment are not cheap! So if that's what the fee is then that's what it is. So what if they are Hispanic. It has no bearing in this video.
