Thanks! Picked up an 07 Tahoe a few months ago and just realized the rear climate control unit isn't turning on. Gonna start with replacing those 10 amp fuses under the hood and go from there
Thanks a lot for your valuable information, I would like to know why the compressor is start and stop frequently ( running for around 20 second then stopped then repeated) while the gas is full and cooling is low performance.
I got this problem on my Escalade where the ac doesn’t come on at all but when I press the button for it to pull air from the outside the air comes in cold it just won’t blow any hot or cold air , so I’ll start by checking the fuses, great video thanks!!
Thank you for this video. I have a question. If one of the front radiator cooling fans is not spinning, does it mean that a fuse may be blown? Or the motor? The fan on the driver's side is not spinning. It's a 2913 Yukon XL
Help please! I have an 07 Tahoe; all of the fuses are okay; blower works with power source; resister was replaced and shows power coming in and going out at 12-14 volts. The blower won’t blow still. The back blows hot hot. I try to use the bypass control in the back and nothing changes. Please help!!
I’m not sure if you can help as the GM dealership service department couldn’t figure it out nor could a Mitsubishi dealership where I take my other car. The AC works great and blows cold air or heat when I need it for the most part but lately when my wife takes a long trip over two hours the front Vince don’t have any air coming out of them either side but you can hear the air blowing behind them. I’ve changed out the actuators and that does not seem to help on both sides. The GM service couldn’t get it to duplicate even though when I brought it in it was doing it.I guess they didn’t check it right away. The GM service department suggested the next time it happens to bring it right in and they thought maybe it was one of the relays or fuses but weren’t sure. Do you have any ideas or suggestions? By the way it’s a 2013 GMC Yukon XL Denali.
I changed blower motors freon level good still blows hot or weak but as I drive it blows cold would a bad wire to the blower motor cause the hot cold air or what affects the temp
I have the 3 flashing lights on a 2009. Chevy suburban need help everything is good far as fluids and compressor just won't turn on when you press the button
Very informative quick video. Thanks! I have a 2007 Tahoe. The AC stopped blowing cold air. It's blowing, but just warm air. I suspect it needs a recharge since compressor is turning and all the fuses seem OK. Would you agree? I honestly dont think in the 10 years I have had this car that I have ever recharged the system. My only concern is that it happened quickly and not a gradual warming of the air coming out. So to me it seems like it could be something other than refrigerant?
@@perfectomartinez6999 Hi. I believe I changed the Blend Door Actuator and that did the trick for my Tahoe. If I recall it could be 1 of 3 issues, but this fixed mine. Good Luck!
Sir I have 2007 Yukon the back Ac is not working. That’s the problem and my wife have spent a lot of cash fixing the car. Can it be any of these fuse you talked about
Same year same truck my problem is I could put Freon and it will get so cold but 2 hours later it back to being really hot 🥵 any ideas what could it be ??
Need help... my 2007 Yukon Denali AC will not blow in the front of the dash board. Checked the resistor and checked the blower all working any help or advice on what to do would be great
I've got a 2012 GMC Yukon Denali the rear AC works but it will not blow up on the front. I checked all the fuses but I'm not sure what's causing the front blower not to work.
I have 07 Cadillac Escalade Esv. I just got done trouble shooting my ac system. Which turn out to be OK. But then again, my compressor is still not spinning. How would I be able to kick start the compressor. So that I would be able to add Freon into the system. Thank's Jay
Hey, I've got a similar issue, 2012 tahoe 5.3... but my issue is that I'm not getting any power to the a.c. 10amp fuse. I swapped the a.c. relay with the fog relay, it's good. The tank is full of freon. I checked the a.c pressure switch its good. The compressor is good, and the pully on the compressor is free. I jumped the compressor, so it does come on, I'm just not getting the power to turn on the a.c. from the control panel, any suggestions?
@dimastorres5105 Yo... actually, I didn't, so what I decided to do was, I ran me an on and off switch from the inside of the cargo out to the engine compartment around to the battery with a 15 amp fuse in between, down to the hot side of the a.c. compressor, and this works at a 100% my fans come on when they need to ,everything works as it should. Always remember to cut the switch off when or before you turn your truck off. Just turn on your climax to make the blower motor come on, and you'll be good to go. Don't disconnect the a.c. plug from the a.c compressor, leave it plugged in ,just strip the hot wire, which should be a green wire if I'm not mistaken, the other is your ground.... Good luck to you.
my tahoe car when I start air conditioner the relay got very hot and fans stop working so i change them with another relays but same problem . what you suggest to solve this issue ... thank you very much
I’m actually looking for this same information I have a 07 Tahoe. I disconnected my battery to install two ignition coils and when I went back to connect my battery my climate control was set to 74° passenger and driver driver side blows icy cold air but my driver side blows hot air. I’m not sure if it’s the actuator itself or maybe the system needs to be reset. If you got any help you can pass along that will be appreciated thanks bud 👍🏽
Do you happen to know where the re ar blower motor resistor is located or if they're even is one on this vehicle. My AC blows out cold in the front but hot in the back and it used to blow out hot in the front and I swapped out the resistor for the front and that fixed it but the back is still blowing hot.
