@@R.P.E There are a number of reasons why Jeep discontinued the Liberty, some of which include: A precipitous drop in sales in the United States from a high of 171,212 in 2002 to a near all-time low of 75,483 in 2012. Universally terrible reviews and reliability ratings during the entirety of its product run. Motor Trend for example gave the 2012 Liberty a 1-star review and among other things called it ‘No Cherokee’. A failure to ever attract as large a market as the original Cherokee XJ it was designed to replace. A horrendous fuel economy (16 mpg city/ 22 mpg highway). More than anything else, the Liberty was a poorly designed and manufactured vehicle that was largely considered an insult to the Jeep brand. Consumers responded appropriately by ignoring it and Chrysler also responded appropriately by killing its short and uneventful production run. I hope that this comment contributes enough to be worthy of your approval you insufferable dick.
hey so I bought a 2007 jeep liberty and I noticed the coolant tank is different from my old 2005 liberty. The upper hose for the 2007 coolant tank isn't attached to anything on the other end but is instead just hanging down, is it supposed to be like that? it's the same coolant tank I saw on this video when you opened the hood.
@2:50 esp button is not traction control per se. it is the electronic stability program which was designed as an attempt to get the Jeep Liberty out of the ‘most likely to roll over’ title holder. It leverages wheel spin detection to apply braking to prevent a roll over or other crash scenario. I think they implemented it in 2005/06 model year.
The Engine light was still on and 2 more lights on the dash board it didn't cut off when u still had the truck running. The outside looks really nice tho.
Nice looking midsize Jeep. The wranglers ride harder on highway, the cherokees are too big for me and zip more gas too. the compass are too small. I have a 2006. Perfect. Give it a nice anti rust treatment underside. Only problem i had..
@@TaijiArban lol that weak Walmart stereo system if you install you need pioneer or something more that walmart stereo is very poor quality I never will buy that
@@Jazzyfresh981992 Bro this was three years ago. Besides, the Walmart stereo would be comparable to a FM transmitter, if not better for the same price. If you wanna spend hundreds on a pioneer stereo for the better quality, then go for it.
