Lexus/Toyota has so many issues with these actuators on so many years/models of their vehicles it's pathetic. There should be a factory recall to replace all these defective items for free.

My 2002 4 runner has a heater cable, that goes to the heater valve on the firewall. The cable itself was corroded and would not move freely. That caused my module to snap off the armature. Check your cable if it moves freely. Replaced the cable and the module...problem fixed.

I have a 2007 ES 350 Lexus and hot air is coming out of the driver side of the dash instead of cold air how do I fix this problem ?

I have a 2012 lexus gs350 f and i think I have a faulty blend door actuator. My current problem is that the driver side blows cold air, while the passenger side and the back seats only get hot air. I've tried turning the temp up on high and also on low for the passenger side, but they still remain on hot, but get even hotter when i turn it up to max. I am afraid to test the driver side if it will get hot, because I live in the the tropics, this will be even worse for me. I am thinking of purchasing a blend actuator for the passenger side, but am not 100% sure if this is the right move. Could I get some advice? Thanks in advance!

Did you ever figure out which part you need to fix your issue? My driver side & windshield is blowing cold when running the heat. I’ve replaced these two parts & it’s still blowing cold. I drive a 2010 Lexus RX350. @James Carroll but wouldn’t it blow cold on all the vents instead of just the driver side?

@@theresafaye316 the problem actually just went away after not driving the car for like 2 days. This was like a year ago and today it still hasn’t come on up 😀

Hello bud nice video. Have question I have a 08 Camry on the dash it shows warm air vent is open but it’s only throwing from main vents which faces us I did checked the actuator it’s working fine any suggestions please. Thanks

Hi! If you think that the actuator is working fine, it could be that the actuator it's stocked in a different position but the computer thinks that is the warm position, maybe the sensor is sending a wrong message, I would disconnect the battery for a few (5) minutes and see if the message goes away,

What worked for me, passenger side cold driver side warm, even tho the ac fix gauge would read near the yellow ~50+psi you need to go into the car and press the throttle and let the car run at ~1500rpms for a minute and when you come back you'll see it drop to 35-40psi and you can fill in more refrigerant. 40-55psi is in the acceptable range for the low side reading on a ~90 degree day. In the end the issue was not enough refrigerant but because the gauge read full I was hesitant to continually fill it up, when you go to an AC tech they just suck all the refrigerant out, weigh it, then refill it to spec so they know exactly how much is in there based on weight not pressure.

Just started today on my 2007 RX350. I have cooler air on passenger side and warmer air on driver side. I have dual zone temp also so im sure that has to be a factor also.

@@TheBlooRayChannel well a couple yrs ago a good mechanic my family knows said that the compressor was starting to work a little harder than it should. He showed and explained to me the pressure gages he had connected. So what i ended up doing was replacing the compressor, the condensor and the belt and now i have super cold air coming through. I got the parts from Rockauto cause they were like half the price from Auto Zone and Advance Auto.

@@tonytone5462 yes but your comment is 3 months old where you state the temp difference. Have you rectified the issue yet?

@@TheBlooRayChannel yes i said what the issue was and how i fixed it. I knew my compressor wasn't operating at 100% so when i spoke to the same mechanic that checked it for me a couple yrs ago, he suggested it was time to change out the compressor. So i did and it works wonderful now.

@@tonytone5462 right. You mentioned you changed the compressor 2 years ago. But the comment on RU-vid that says 'just stared today..' is 3 months old which didn't make sense.
