The mass air flow sensor is locate somewhere in the flex gose for the throttle body or right in the air filter box. The sensor on the headers are the oxygen sensor (aka O2 sensor). In the engine compartment fuse box you need to find a fuse with woukd be mark as a O2 sensor or emissions if iam not mistaking. Now in that car you onli have one bank you just need to make sure witch sensor you need if everything else come out good. Scanner should tell you if it is sensor 1 or sensor 2.
Nice video. I want to ask for your opinion: I just replaced transmission in my 2.4 Rav4 2008 FWD, When I came to pick up car, I have been told that I have an issue with knock sensor and check engine light is on. I didn’t had check engine light before. Is it possible that knock sensor harness or knock sensor were damaged during installation?
The ones on each side on top had something in front of them .Had one Bolt on top and two nuts off then the two under neath I had off but the ones on the side had stuff and couldn’t get to them .You didn’t show them on video .watched it twice .Gave up and put them back
Bro I put my battery in wrong and fried the mass air flow sensor you think this one went too ? I’m getting a reading ride for the 02 sensor bank 2 but I’m thinking since it dried the mass it prolly burned this one what you think ? This one looks type hard to change
There is a possibility. but i suggest to look for the fuse first check if it is good. usually fuses are firts ones on fried so must likely is the fuse. If everything check out good erease the code if it keeps reading same code replace sensor. Is your camry v6 or 4l?
I had my codes read at autozone and the knox sensor came up yet one guy said it could be a symptom of something else and not actually the knox sensor. My toyota will not accelerate when the pedal is pressed to the metal. And if I pump the gas several times propulsion will kick in and the car will accelerate. This behavior is dangerous when leaving a parking lot to get onto the road because I could easily be rear ended if the car doesn’t accelerate properly. I’d so appreciate it if someone could confirm if this sounds like a defective knox sensor or possibly the vst?🚐🚐🚐
Gabo Msga thanks I actually found a video here on RU-vid for the 3.3 liter V-6. Got to change it in my 2006 Toyota Solara. My cousin got the 4 cylinder I’ll show him this video in case if he has the same problem.
