I literally can not think you enough for this video. I have a 2004 Toyota Solara (fuse box is different..but this explained in detail how the starting power goes in to the starter relay. Had been confused how the neutral safety switch factors into how the power gets to the starter. This saved me so much time cause I assumed it was a problem. This detail actually pinpointed the issue cause wasn't getting power to the starter.
Thanks for guiding me to the problem, camry 2007 didn't start no cranking... I followed your steps...in the end I tapped the starter and the car started 👍

I had a sputter for a few days and my tabs on coil packs are rotted but I plug str8 to the prong in coil pack and I grounded it out car just died but I have power everywhere cranks but will not turn over???? Not getting spark!!! I change crank angle sensor !!!!
Hello. I have 2009 camry. Headlights are fine and fuses are good. But no power at thr fuse. I have chekced with a multimeter. Is there any interation relay before the fuse for the high beams? Low beams and all other lights are working perfectly. Thanks.
Bro can you please help me out. My car is a v6 push to start camry, I am not sure if the car should start as soon as I hit the brake pedal and the button turn green or if first I need to touch the button so that it turns red and then press the pedal, the button now turns gteen and then start the car. Problem is that the car will almost never start after I press the pedal and then hit the power button while green. The dash shows a very dim battery light to the left and the car will not start. I turn it off agan and try this all over agan several times until the dash lights up and then the car starts. Once the dash lights up I know the car will start tight after. The biggest issue is that the car has turned off on me while driving it. Motor goes off while the dash stays ON. I scanned the car and it showed bank 2 camshaft sensor, which I replaced already without any progress. I am thinking that I did replace the correct sensor. The car has shut down on me around 6 times. The car also worked fine for about a month without any issues, the way I would start it without any issues was this. I would press the start button and then it would light up red, would wait ten seconds, press brake pedal and then the button would go green and the car would start every time. Now the car is having issues starting again. Will not start first try.
I was looking for a way to test the starter relay. Swapping the other relay is a quick check. I wasn't sure if the other relay was necessary to start the engine though. I replaced my starter about a year ago. I think a new starter should last more than a year. 🙄
Hey bro how's it going my brother in law has 07 V6 key start so his car starts but then shuts off so it started with a coil pack plug broke so while driving it disconnected i got another plug cut the wires one at a time tobmake sure they were all xonnectef right car was fine we'll I got it running but felt littke shaky till a mechanic came and cut them all off n didnt connect them right had another guy come and check them n connect tgem the way they belong changed crank sensor car just starts then shuts off obd still reads misfire can it maybe be coil packs
my 2007 camry has power (I changed battery & starter) but the windows will not work and the car will not start. In fact, the ignition is quiet when i turn the key. No noise. No clicking. Just silence. Strange that the locks work. Horn will not work. I have to hit the over ride button at the shifter to get it to go in neutral. Otherwise the shift is locked. Dashboard is working with all the dummy lights working. Again, the car is dead except for certain aspects, lights and locks. Any suggestions?
I have almost same problem ! In the morning , I had to turn the ignition switch 7 to 10 times to start engine ! The after running about 1 hour , I stop the engine then start again , no noise , no click . I had to wait around half hour to start engine again . I change the starter , fuse , both relays , but same thing happens ! I even change the Computer and reset it , but the issue is still the same ! Any suggestions ?
Great video. Got a 07 v6, doing the same thing. Turn the key and nothing, no dash lights or crank and i just put a new battery. Gonna go check for power on all the spots you showed
Bro my car was working fine but after I replaced a fuse front the panel inside the driver's side I made a fault movements and saw a small spark after that happened the car Didi not start or do anything checked the fuses and the 7.5 fuse you point out was blown replaced it but now my car has no spark it just cranks but have no spark any advice please help
Hey I have a 07 Camry CE manual trans my starter, well so I thought it was the starter so I went and got a new one put it in and it still won't start. it just make a Lough buzzing and then the power just cuts off.... But I can push start it and it starts right up.... I checked the fuses and relays and I moved a couple of the around traded a couple of them out and still.. no luck on why it won't starter doesn't engaged and the power cuts off....... Please if you happen to know where I should start to try to find out the problem or any info at all on why it might be doing this will be greatly appreciated.... And it has """no check engine light"""
I have a 2009 toyota camry. I have the same issue. Turn on the key and nothing. There’s no noise or crank or anything. But the radio turns on. There’s ac. I could lower the windows. And the dashboard lights turn on. So do i need to change the fuse or something
I have abnormal like this : I run the car about 1 hours . After I stop the car and restart again , the engine won't start . I had to use the jump cable to get power from other car to restart my car . I already replace the battery , accelerator and intend to replace the starter . Do you think I need to replace the Relay ?
