Drilling the air cleaner was brilliant! I have a 73 F250 that was a former Colorado Forest Service truck that is completely new, but I have not finished the paint and body work and I've owned the truck since 1992. Good motivation to finish this winter!
Your truck is BAD ASS! I'm restoring my 1977 Ford F150 Custom and have huge plans for it. I got all the time I need (I'm 16) but if you all want to see it I have videos of it on my page.
+LesR(swordman50) very nice truck hope to fined one my self to fix up have my grandpa 85 long bed single cab inline 6 wanna fix it up in memory of him and I have a 96 short bed single cab with a inline 6 hope to make them both show trucks
It's beautiful! The only thing I would stay away from is the lift blocks. Just flip the rear shackles and you gain about 4" and much better shackle movement. Great build though! So nice
i want to buy my dads old 75 f150 with 460 and make it into a street truck, i think it would be pretty badass, those 460ès are easy to get big hp and earth shaking torque
I love everything about this truck, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with a long bed it makes a pickup look like a truck leave the short bed to the slammers
Nice old Ford! Hang on to that one!!!! Don’t get suckered into getting one of the newer pieces of junk stuff. None of the makers make a truck like yours and prior years. Thin, plasticity junk now with too many features to fail on them.
ROADHOUSE DUDE!!! You live in Missouri too! What part are you from?? I'm from the North Central and I've got a 77 F-250 I'm looking to fix up here soon!
I have a RU-vid channel and on my channel the main topics are guns and ammo. Once my house is paid off, in about 5 years, I will do a series of videos restoring my old Ford. I have a 1976, F-250 (hence, 76Highboy) 4X4 that I have had for many years. It will be a fun restoration. Yours has character. Highboy
Love it man! gonna do a slideshow just like this during the restoration of my 73 f100 :D whats she rockin under the hood? love the push bar on the front, and the molding on top of the tailgate. not sure if its a ford sticker or part of the molding but i like the idea and im gonna do that on my truck :D thanks for posting, love seeing these videos for good ideas, keep it up
sweet ride i got a 78 f150 4x4 im working on myself,, I have had a few with 4inch lifts but looking at going with 6 this time did you have to extend drivelines or anything thanks dave salisbury n.c
the 9 inch half ton rear end was the best and most indestructible rear end/axle ever produced. There very far from weak. The dana 44 front how ever was strong but somewhat weak.
This thing is so cool man. im currently in the process of restoring a 79 super cab f250 4x4, it'll just like yours but with some blue accents. did you get alot of your parts from LMC truck?
where did u end up mounting the gas tank? I've got a '75 262 and the gas tank is behind the seat in the cab do you have any photos of the tank location ?
LesR(swordman50) oh, i didnt realize thats what they were. well thanks ill have to look into those. i knew of these already but i thought like the whole headlight was covered not just the upper half, thanks.
