Great job Kevin, I don’t comment to often but never miss a video. Pure professional at your job and you can always see whether it’s a quick shuffle of the spanner or a wipe of the tool box each time before you close a draw that you enjoy your work. Keep it up 💪👍
Hi Kevin, Thanks for sharing the video clip. Looked like a big job before you even started removing the gearbox. A privilege to watch you work and how you adapt to your working environment. I'm looking forward to your next clip meanwhile, stay safe and of course keep smiling. 👍 😉
Not only does Kevin knock out massive jobs out in the open in no time at all, unbelievably he manages to undertake fantastic videography all throughout!
A GOOD JOB DONE WITH INTELLIGENCE THAT IS NOT FOR EVERYONE. AS ALWAYS YOU DEMONSTRATE THAT YOU KNOW HOW TO DO THIS WORK VERY WELL. I ALWAYS SAID THE CALM AND THE VIRTU OF STRONG MEN.
Kev. Brilliant video.Great that you are adding more content to them which includes linkage removal and oil top ups etc. That Accord is a well made car, but the extra components that need removed would need a remortgage if done at the dealers. Keep it up and look forward to your next one.
Just re watched this. Excellent video man, best one on youtube regarding this. I'm confident now and away to the driveway to do my clutch and flywheel. Inspired:)) 👍
Fantastic job Kevin , amazing skills you demonstrate even the whole thing ALONE .... Hats off to you mate ! In one word : PROFESSIONAL !. Great video . KEEP WALKING !!! All the best from Hungary !
I don't know about the diesels but there are other videos on the tube showing 4 cylinder petrol Accords being done without removing the gearbox from the car or subframe? Remove the drive shafts and gearbox connections in the normal way then undo the intake manifold nuts. Pull it do the side leaving everything connected. This gives access to the starter which can be pulled out slightly still connected. Push the gearbox to the right. This gives just enough access to the clutch. Turn the car over on the crank to gain access to each clutch bolt.
All I Can To You Is Much Admiration On How You Did This On Your Own Is Bloody Amazing, I Take It You Had 3 Weetabix Or More For Breakfast, Amazing Mate. Applause
i am literally at this point 40:33 now my gearbox slides on but it is like 3/4 of an inch off touching the block, i can just see the teeth on the flywheel, did you use the bolts to pull it on the last bit or was it snug when you put the bolts in! cheers great video been a massive help i am too doing off axle stands
Incredible content and camera shots. Which model do you prefer/easiest to work on ? Do you have any preferences ? And in the same way are there models you find annoying to work on ? Cheers
Did the job myself on my 2006 accord cdti , at the end i got the check engine light on(p0698), the airbag light on (11-10 open in the driver's airbag first inflator) , horn not working and a drunk speedometer... Just call this guy..
Would you say it was worse working on the Accord compared to the Civic 2.2? Seemed like you had more room in the Accord, but you had to drop the sub-frame in contrast.
Full send bro never lift 😏🤙mobbin deep 🙌 hey bro if you ever do a mitsubishi lancer evolution aka evo x can you make that like it's own detailed video would love too see ty ty g
So Im getting a Accord Tourer 2010 2.2 idtec. I will have to replace the clutch. The clutch needed is a normal one? (cheaper), or its "bimasa" (expensive one)?? Thank you so much!
48:40 what part are you securing here? Took mine to the garage and after a MAP/MAF change it's been left unsecured. I hate discussing this stuff over the phone as I rarely have the correct terminology

Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe he has already answered that, I had the same question. He said he doesn't because the main two was that seal goes bad to leak is either a: thee car has just sat and the seal dried and cracked which in that case he probably wouldn't be there, or b: an internal engine failure has happened that has caused the seal to leak such as bad bearings to bad crankshaft, etc. He would only do o the seal IF he fixed what caused it to leak, but since he doesn't do internal work like that, no, he doesn't replace the rear main seal. Hopefully this helps.
There are few bits that don't go with the recommendations, that self adjusting clutch is installed using a clutch loading tool, otherwise will prematurely wear, less than 30k miles I would say... But if customers are happy... 😑
Maverick the trick is to add an extra two layers. I might start with a jumper and a Woolly hat. Then when you take one off at a time you feel that little bit cooler … 😁🍻
Nothing major. Just things like crushed fingers .,, deep cut on the hands. Hitting head hard enough to split, needing stitches. Split eyebrows needing stitches. That sort of stuff that can be patched up. Sometimes heavy bruises. Mostly cosmetics.
Did you get round to getting it done? The clutch on my tourer has just gone and looking for any advice on where to get it done how much to expect etc? Cos this looks a ball ache of a job 😂
