Disconnect battery, set e-brake, turn key to on position,shift to whatever gear you want

Great video brother. Every car I own I swap the head units out myself. However I just bought a 2010 Camry with the steering wheel controls and I've never had to deal with that. My new unit is supposed to arrive today and I'm dying to get it installed. Thanks for the video.

I’m surprised that you failed to mention the dual antennas on the stock radio. It requires a splitter and an adapter for both AM/FM reception. Wish I had known this before my install!

Fun fact: The thermometer on that Toyota Camry will only show the numbers -9, -8, -6, -4, -2, 0, 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 19, 21, 23, 25 etc., the pattern is +1, +2, +2, +2, +2, +1, +2, +2, +2, +2, repeat. You’ll never see numbers like 69, 78, 18, 47, 35, 8, 101, or any numbers that don’t fit the given pattern, on the thermometer. You can also go down from -9 with the given pattern. My parents have had this car since I was less than a year old, and after nearly 14 years with this car I’ve figured that pattern out.

I learned so much lmao. My left dash speaker isnt working and troubleshooting it its gotta be the wire from speaker where ever it goes. Do you have a video on troubleshooting speakers? Also left door speaker isnt working as well.

I removed my factory navigation to put in an aftermarket stereo but it didn't work out. I know that I plugged that grey harness that you said was the AC back into the stereo but my AC ain't working now. Any tips?

Great vid, thanks for the tutorial. I had a 4 channel amp installed years back, is there gonna be some additional mess back there or will it just be the RCA inputs? Guess I'll find out either way but it'd be nice to know before hand. Thanks again!

well hopefully it was done correctly and you should just see 2 pairs of rca's but you may find some speaker wires ran from the harness to the amp

thanks for watching im glad i can help. and the usb usually gets retained through a usb adapter that will go from your original port to the extension on the radio.

The dual probably has swc capabilities but I would always use a module

Depends. Sometimes you have more power coming out of the amp than what the radio will provide, but also sometimes the factory amp restricts how loud your music can get. Just all depends i would probably bypass the factory ampnso you can have more control through the headunit and won't have to n worry about if the amp goes bad or not

it will enhance what you have. should sound better at lower volume. you wont have to turn it up as loud
