I agree, I own a splash for the last 7 years and every time I go on the highway and put someone on speaker, he asks me to close the windows (they're already closed)
I have the same car but from Opel 1.0 65 hp. Year 2010 almost 60k km. 0 engine issues. I only changed the couple of shock absorber in the back. Things I don't like are the stiff pedal clutch and the noisy engine during first and second gear.
At 2:17 where you decelerate on this small downhill, I can hear some sort of sound that the car produces, right next to the sound of the engine. I can separate the sound of the in-line 4 engine, but there is one sound-noise that the car produces when it accelerates (increases sound pitch) and also when it decelerates (decreases sound pitch). The same sound can be heard here as well 1:36 when you accelerate. I am not sure if this is the sound of the transmission or of some other part of the car, but I have noticed that mainly small sized cars like this one produce that sound when they are in-line 4 and produce around 86HP, whether they are 1.2l or 1.3l If you know what sound that is those cars produce, please let me know
