@@esaedvik i had some mustangs before my coop, i had v8 stangs that would average like 13mpg when driven hard, my coop got 23mpg racing back roads and leaving the revs at 3k+ and it has 15% pulley, cai, and exhaust.

Stefan Leggott Yea it's pretty fk8n badass that mini. I've got the r53 had a 17 % percent reduced pully and it is fkin scary fast that's does 500 hp thing is nuts

any chance linking a video of it? i own a 2002 R50 mini one and i'm looking to modify it so looking at a nice finished track mini would be awesome!

R53 all the way . R56 have to many expensive problems . Avoid r56 with N14 engines and get a newer r56 with a N18 if you do get an r56 . The N18 is slightly more reliable than the N14 junk engine . The r53 is only a little slower stock but with a pulley swap it's faster and a lot tougher than either r56 stock turbo engines .

I know it's a year old but just to add to this, I owned an R56 with the N18 and still had a lot of issues. Looking at an R53 at the moment currently in an Ep3 Type R, something about the minis is just so fun.

Think you mean smaller pulley or a reduction pulley 15-17 or 19%. Increasing the pulley size would make the supercharger spin slower and force less air and reduce the performance.

they're just the facelift tail lights, came with models for 2006 r53s

The car is a 2002-2004 pre face lift it is not a 2005, the 2005 has the reverse lights in the tail lights

Steevnb * check it sounds right m8, main issue is tim9ng chain tensi9ners etc. But yea check it runs quiet on cold start Any weird tapping sounds or weird noises kicking etc leave it. Make sure everything electrical works and there is no leaks on the floor under or around the car. And just check for the usual rust . Make sure all the bonnet gaps etc are equal if there off could if been in a bang. It a always hard c9s you never know. We just bought one a fee days ago a modded one it has full service history and seems to have been well looked after. Just had a new mot and only a tyre as advisory. Hopefully it'll turn out ok we've just been stung badly buying a car

17x7 et40 to et45 should work. You can probably go a little wider if you lower the offset.

YJness mine is, but I have a black Mini; but any color is better than the alternative, plus it makes you feel like there’s much more headroom :-)
