Buys 3” midpipe to increase flow; proceeds to neck it down to 2.5”. Here’s a news flash: the inside diameter of the stock muffler is 2.5” so it still necks down regardless... only the tailpipe section is 3”.

Where did you purchase the adapter? Not a single adapter I've seen on Amazon or in Local stores looks like the one you use in the video. The one you use appears to have an expansion/contraction slot machined into it to allow for slippage over the rear pipe section. Neither of the adapters I've found and tried to use has worked. Also, I have a 2015 5.0 and the rear pipe/muffler section looks nothing like the EcoBoost you used in the video.

Does anyone make a 3 inch resonator delete and muffler kit? Seems ridiculous to go through all this to step down to 2.5 inch though the muffler.

Same my auto tech teacher Would kill him if he saw him not wearing any safety glasses while doing all that work even i wear safety glasses when I work on my truck, You should wear them all the time apparently he didn’t get taught that

It shouldn’t affect the premier warranty if you got it. It could affect the factory warranty though. I’m not 100% though. But ford can hold you liable for their baseline warrant for any modifications. But let’s be honest an exhaust shouldn’t affect the engine reliability at all especially just a resonator delte

Why is it 2pieces? If you have to add the step down and cut to length then why is it two pieces instead of one? for that price it should be one pipe.

Muffler or resonator delete shouldn’t give you problems with codes, maybe your oxygen sensor glitched or needs to be cleaned up

You may see a slight gain in gas mileage, but it won't be anything too crazy. This is modification is mainly to change your exhaust note. -Zach

Deleting the factory resonator won't make things a whole lot louder compared to your factory exhaust, you'll just see a bit more tone and turbo noises. I highly doubt you will cause you any issues and have you get pulled over. -Zach
