What’s is the problem with it my car just recently started doing it I have no idea what is it no check engine either as well I just changed the valve cover and gasket it was running fine then it started making that sound
seriously? i've been thinking my dorman brand intake may have a clogged check valve. when i listen to the car the noise seems most noticable toward the intake. i think i lucky the diaphram in valve cover is still good. once the car warms up the noise goes away.
@@HoodlegalGaryyes ,lifter noise. Took valve cover off . Took took timing chain guide off un blocked tiny hole so chain was lubricanted. Noticed a few lifters were compressed as they were loose. Press up and down on top of tappets with big screwdriver while syringing oil on them. Syringe more oil over the top of lifters, put cover back on, started car and after a few seconds noise was gone. Runs perfectly now.
