If I only want to use the 2012 radiator shrouds and keep the 2011 rear the same which seat should I use? Does the 2012 seat work with the 2011 rear plastics?
I believe if you use the 2011 seat with the 2011 rear end it should “work” although due to the placement of the front mounting stud (on gas tank) the seat may not mount correctly. I think the 2012+ tank is shorter and stud might be located further up, so seat might sit a little funny up front.
If memory serves correct you can swap over just the air box! I’ll double check when I get a chance and verify that for you, (as it’s been a while since I did the rear conversion) but I remember using the boot off my 2011 and installing the 12+ air box to it !
@@GregsGarage21 Did you also buy the rear subframe to mount the 2012-2015 number plate? because I have a kxf 450 2011, and I would like to make the restyling, could you write me everything you need?
