In this case Rob utilises good know cam/crank data to assist diagnosing the fault. The TaT Good scan/scope database now has over 21,000 individual file uploads. To access the database, join up at www.tat.net.au/social.html
Thanks for this one. We have a D22 YD25 in that will start up but cuts out when idle drops below 1000revs, if you flick the heat switch it will idle forever. Until you hit the clutch and it drops the revs. If we unplug the cam or crank sensors individually it will start up and idle fine but plug it back in and it goes bad again on next start. Will scope it in the morning and have a look.
Lambros, it's Rob here. The fault was a stretched timing chain although the customer did not want to proceed, so there was no strip down to show in the video.
@@romanosautomotive Thanks a lot for the answer, Rob. I like a lot the way/procedure that you approach the problems(which is the right way 😂).You are a top level technician. Keep feeding us with great videos/lessons 😂🤣
My car nissan (D40) don't report error. By it lost power. Normal when engine rpm is 800 then intake manifold absolute pressure kpa about 97. But my car has 88-90 when engine rpm is 1000. When my car is Climbing uphill pedals on the accelerator and the engine speed does not go up.How do you know, Please show me. Thanks
I need your help. I'm working on a Nissan Urvan bus E26.and this DTC P1275 came on.and I don't know what it is.? So please can help me diagnose this issue thanks.
"let's unplug the cam sensor and see what happens" *turns key and puts a hole in the piston* 🤣🤣 nah good to know, getting a Navara now, crank no start, cheap as chips project. Guy reckons fuel pump, but never know until you know
Hey mate , I have a yd25 pathfinder that cranks but no start ! I have changed fuel filter , suction control valve and cleaned maf and ect but still to no avail . How can I check timing on these engines without a full tear down . Is that possible, I have tried to start it with cam sensor unplugged but no go , so far I suspect pressure relief valve on fuel rail , injectors or timing , what’s your experience and advise Please keep in mind I work in the industry and will be doing this repair in the driveway 😅
I am from Brazil. After replacing the SCV, because the engine was stalling in idle, the engine of my Frontier (Navara) do not start, even with the old valve. Please, any advice?
