The exhaust note is the best part!!!!

I love my Abarth. I may not be the standard car buyer, but yes the ride can be a slightly harsh, but the handling more than justifies it. I've had many performance cars over the years, from Mustang GT's to Subaru WRX's and this one puts a bigger smile on my face every time I drive it.

Did this dude really just say the sport button doesn't do much besides make his arms tired? How about the 20 ft lb extra torque when in sport mode. That may not sound like much but it makes it a completely different car.

Nothing else for the money can match the level of fun this car provides. The price was lowered 2 years ago.

Alex sounds like he drives a Camry or a Corolla to and from work.

My Abarth has the bench in the rear. It has no headrest's so it folds almost flat. I didn't realise the split rear seats were so awkward. My only gripes with mine after a year of ownership, is slightly unsettled ride and turning circle of a bus, but the exhaust note and the little pops and bangs it makes from time to time compensate for it!

Six speeds? I didn't know Reverse counted as a speed! 😁 Also, I'm 57 and bought my 2015 Abarth in 2020. I swapped the stock shocks and struts with KYB Excel-G which greatly soften the suspension. I can now confortably do week-long road trips.

I wonder with an ecu flash if this car would put out more than 250hp

I suspect you could get 20 more HP out of it, but Im not sure you could go to 250 without a new turbo.

You should get your facts straight before you do a 15 minute review. It's a 5 speed. The sport button adds more HP and Torque to the car's full potential @ 160HP and 170ft lb The rear seats will fold down flat, while the front seats can slide as far back as they can go. Just lose the headrests. The EVIC and steering wheel controls are absolutely awesome in the way they are set up. You just got to learn it first! Seats are quite comfortable, maybe try doing some sit ups and your back won't hurt as much. With Sport mode the steering wheel is too heavy? You've got to be kidding me...Grow a pair. Lastly, the music is horrible. And I do understand that this video is almost 3 years old so I don't expect to see any changes. Not trying to be harsh either...well maybe a little..

although i'm sure the tom tom works fine, it is awfully tacky. seems a bit like taping a thermometer to the hood of my '97 suburban so i know the temperature outside. however, i would still love to have this car as an every day driver in a city environment. and i love the dash, very well done.

The exhaust note is excellent on this car. Not a bad price for a small, sporty car @ $25k.

💩-E review! I'm 62 and I love my Abarth...

I'm not sure about the Abarth but the standard 500's I looked at were built in Mexico with 49% Mexican parts according to the window sticker, not very Italian.

Now is the time to get one of these.... take advantage of the poor depreciation.

2013+ comes with an Alpine audio system, no more Bose system.

well, they are working with chrysler, that is consistent with all of their cars. very mexican. i think they are really cool cars, the mpg is a little disappointing. i average 25-26 with my 350z driving fairly spirited, so i recon i dont see any point in getting rid of it for something like this that might get 32 from what i hear going easy on it. i have nearly double the power and more (driver) room as well and i can get nearly 30 on long highway trips. maybe in a few years here...

they dont work with Chrysler, but they own and saved Chrysler.

Just got back from the fiat dealer and test drive. This would be SO MUCH BETTER as a two person vehicle. The back seats are entirely unusable, and the seats don't even fold down all the way when the front seats are adjusted for a 6'0" individual to sit without cramming his knees into the dash. Luckily, the aftermarket does make a rear-seat delete kit, but it'd be much nicer if it were designed as such from the factory.

When his arms get tired, it's because it adds a lot more torque around 270 lbs, tightens up the steering wheel and adds more to the note of the exhaust. He should get out of the car

This guy must drive a Nissan leaf or Prius. Complains about his back and his arms hurting as if hes like 60 years old and thinks its to harsh of a drive, too loud, seats are too tightly bolstered. Dude your 30!! This car is marketed for people in that age category for sports car enthusiasts who don't want a $100,000 car. Its car is made for people who commute or work in the city and want to go drive curvy roads on the weekend.This car is the best for when you think your going fast but your really not. That's what makes it fun. And he didn't even correct himself when he first said it was a 6 speed and then complained its only a 5? Tried to play that one off like it never happened. I bet he didn't even go near or push the sport button, he was most likely sweating bullets looking at it.

Cheap jacket, worn jeans, dress shoes. You know this will be a bad review from the get go. The crappy music seals the deal.

yea the exhaust note is great after the first two weeks you own it, but then on a day-to-day daily driving it gets so tiring and annoying.

Please lose the incredibly annoying soundtrack! It sounds like someone has left a cheap Casio keyboard on "demo mode" throughout the whole video.
