If it wont turn off, remove the alt. Fuse, pull the negative battery cable leave off for a few and it resets. Quick fix. Turns engine off. No need to leave it on for hours.
Just had mine go out also while car was running just bought this at dealership for 108.00 specialty order. I did try changing out my fob batteries but they were good. I tried the fuses and disassembling the car battery nothing worked in order to shut off I had to disassemble the battery and had to get the alt to kick off
Thanks for sharing,i could not turn mine off, been sitting now at home for a couple of weeks. We disconnected battery and couldn't turn off still,it stop with empty gas tank now. Should i try this?
@@ben2029 Thats what im going to try. I dont know much about cars,so ill have my grandson help me.This seemed like a solution. Been calling around for the best price,so far 53.99 amd delivered tomorrow, sounds like a good deal Thank you🙂
Same thing with it showing the dash key problem. It wouldnt turn off but then it would when i pressed a bunch. Then it wouldnt start. Then it cranked but wouldnt start. I hope its this, you ever get it to crank? It will also turn on the radio/lights but then cant turn them off
@@ben2029 I bought one from the dealer and it was a breeze to install. The car is starting and turning off properly once again. I only paid $40. Thx again.
@@ben2029 I bought a new push button with the wires and a key.. I connected all the wires but it still won't start.. battery good because all lights come on
@@JaricaNicholas-vu8ou The original key should work for the car. You should not have had to wire anything. The button is plug and play. do you have a part number?
My 2010 Altima starts but wont turn off, all dash light will off but the engine still working. And sometimes if put the push on Accesories mode then i will not able to start the engine too. So you think this part work for me too?
