I don't get why people say dodges interiors use to be the worst. In 04 their plastic was thick and solid compared to gm. That's what I always love about dodge is there interior quality. No creaks or rattles in my 2009 dodge ram. I love the hard plastic. In my 2000 gmc sierra you could flex the dash in and out really bad the dodge's dash won't budge.
The 1992-1997 interiors were the worst. They had clips holding the dash together that were intentionally weakened for cash safety. Over time the clips broke and so the dash would fall apart. I agree with the rest of your comment. I have a 2005 and it has a very durable dash.
They're really good trucks, we had a rental for a couple days. But, they plastic by the windows was bubbling, and then at the dealership the same thing happened. Also I wasn't too happy with the door panels on the inside. They were floppy and flexy. And chrysler makes some kick butt audio systems with their 6 speakers. You can't go wrong with that. The new 2014's just say RAM everywhere.
Maybe because it was just 'ram' starting from the 2013 model and onward. My grandpa said something about the 2012 being the last one with Dodge in the name
I don`t like the ram but I do give them credit for making a good looking truck with a newer improved hemi. But what they still could work on is ground clearance because the chevy ford and Nissan have way more. Also the 2014`s still have that antenna there. And for the tail gate it`s damped like gm`s but with the auto tail gate down with the push of a button.
I hate the air vents like that. Ive been in deranges with those vents and they break over time. My 2014 RAM has different vents that are much better engineering
