the derek norris walk off against the giants was such a thing of beauty for so many reasons..1) it was further testament to the story of the 2012 a's getting walk-offs wins 2) it was norris' first home run 3) we were faced with losing yet another game in that bay bridge series 4) we lost the prior games of that bay bridge series getting dicked on bad calls in the strike zone, and the number 5 reason that walk off win was so dope..because it was against the giants.

I am British, I don't understand baseball but I LOVE IT! I don't even know the rules and cannot see much of it on tv but when I can, here on YT etc and in films I absolutely love it. Watched Moneyball last night, wonderful. Saw Trouble with the Curve, fabtastic. One day when I next get to the USA I will sit at an MLB game and let it all wash over me, can't wait...

In 2014, he'll have the opportunity for an arbitration (salary negotiations). And depending on the price, he could decline re-signing and became a free-agent. In 2017, he will become a free agent. In my opinion, Reddick will want to stay in Oakland. He said he really enjoys the city/people. In the off-season, he works blue collar jobs in Oakland. Not for the money, but to assist the community he represents the best way he can. Reddick embodies what green collar baseball is all about.

I come from Germany and it is like Brennball here. Baseball is so easy to understand but very hard to win. The most in the USA know Babe Ruth, but what the most don´t know he was 1/2 German.

Why do the Oakland A's win? It's because they are a bunch of talented youngsters that play their hearts out. It isn't about the big dollar contracts with these guys, its about having fun, and playing baseball.
