I can't decide what I like more...? The Speed Triple or Suzy? I think it's Suzy.... Thankfully I have Triumph Daytona 675...which is an incredible bike to ride. Never fails to put a smile on my face after every ride. The tracking through corners, the burbles and crackles on the downshifts are intoxicating. Daytona 675...Epic Bike.
i have a daytona 675 and i want one of these bikes, but im afraid if i go to a Street triple that ill be going to far down in power and torque, is the difference noticable?
I love my 2010 Street Triple R but they're a joke in terms of reliability. Engine vibrations at certain revs which weren't there before, engine cuts out when idling in hot weather, rough engine sound when you gun it from down low (sometimes it's smooth, sometimes it's really rough), that annoying cam chain tensioner rattle, and now today I just noticed my exhaust is popping when I rev it - didn't used to before. Feels like a bucket of bolts, but it does ride sweet...
Hmm... I like 'em better than the "Dame Edna" bigger ones. The round ones are OK too. As long as they both come on for low beam. I hate the new trend of only one of two on for low.
Says the man who..somewhat ironically...contributes precisely nothing to the debate. Well unless you count the obligatory dickhead you tube comment of course...
Was scaring the crap out of that cyclist at the beginning of the video meant to be funny? It isn't, lots of bikers are cyclists too, me included, this creates a bad image for bikers and sets a dreadful example of poor riding.
I'm a biker and cyclist as well, and you are a drama queen. He didn't "Scare the crap out" of him. The cyclist just took extra effort to make sure he was out of the way as he heard the bike coming, as is wise to do on a narrow road, but even if he hadn't there was still plenty of room. There was absolutely nothing wrong with what happened there, that's being said as an experienced cyclist too. If I had a pound for every bike video I've seen with some worrying busy body moaning about "our image" I'd be a rich man, and it's all just such nonsense. Frankly, if anything, YOU are the one doing bikers image harm by simply agreeing to go along with the idea that we should be judged as a whole. I am me, and I should be judged as ME and MY actions alone. And anybody idiotic enough to not understand that concept and judge a person that rides a bike on a general "image" they have in their head, formed off what they "saw some biker do on youtube", is going to have an idiotic opinion regardless and simply isn't worth bothering to try and appease. They certainly don't warrant anally retentive levels of dedication to making sure "our image" is squeaky clean by editing out otherwise normal footage from videos etc etc.
5:05 PAUSE and then google Ducati Monster 796. Now look at the rear end on both bikes. Same single sided swingarm, same wheel, same seat, same dual exhaust even the mother effin' heat shield on top of the cans is the same. I love it, don't get me wrong but my bitchin' question is why don't you copy that gorgeous, gorgeous Ducati Monster headlight as well and call it a day. I'm sorry but those fucktard headlights need to go...other then that it's a beautiful bike...and the girl is nice too =) upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/2/2e/Monster_796.jpg/1024px-Monster_796.jpg
I had a 2010 speed triple brand new.. Did 40 miles on it.. Biggest pile of shit ever, poorly made, faults galore, a sliding seat that they said was normal.. Total wank.
