In today's how to video, I walk you through the process of removing the front bumper on a 2013-2020 Ford Fusion. The way to make this job easier in the future is to replace the plastic fasteners that line the bumper. Harbor Freight sells a kit of 240 with various fasteners that will help out this job in the future.

This is a very helpful video. Thanks! I've got a 2020 Titanium that I bought in the spring of last year after the snow stopped and melted. I'm in Michigan and we got some good snow on the ground the last two days. I'm so impressed at how the Intelligent AWD and traction control handles in the snow and on ice covered roads. I've been nothing but impressed with this car.

I had to find this out the hard way when I replaced my headlight bulbs a few months ago lol. One tip I have is to be careful when using the pry tool when removing those push pins from the top area. I always rotate my pry tool so the leveraging force isn't on the edge of the bumper where the hood meets. I damaged my paint a little bit the first time.

Great video. I got my grill replaced, but having challenges on the drivers side with those two hard to reach screws. They don’t want to tighten all the way leaving a 1/2 in gap in the quarter panel seam. Have you run into this challenge? I’m baffled. Thanks!

On the ‘17+ ford decided to make it harder by putting two bolts on each side of the fender. 😂

I have a 2020, and there is a fender bracket with two bolts and a fastener holding the bumper to the fender, I cannot for the life of me get it off. Am I wrong in thinking this is how to get it off? I'm scared to pull the bumper off because the fender flexes when I pull.

Just remove the two bolts then pull.

Where do you find aftermarket parts for this car? I have a 2020 and have found absolutely no aftermarket body parts for it.

Ebay mostly. I got my aftermarket headlights from some guy in china. The lip and grill i both got on ebay as well but those came from america.

This is great Dito, thanks for turning me on to those hood struts. May have to get a set. On, I think, 18+, there is a bolt holding the top of the the bumper to the fender inside the wheel well. It's a giant pain in the ass to get to, you'll have to remove them before you can wiggle it off. Definitely have them on my 19 FFH.

Yes you would just need to disconnect the plugs

How do I turn off the “system off to save battery” even with my keys being one click forward to turn on electronics. I want to listen to music but without my engine running but I can’t because of that message making the screen turn off
