Indeed. Not the only mistake this guy commentator said. "Power is just something you can't teach".. Ok, there are limits to how much power you can develop, but it's actually all hard work. Power is something to train for, one doesn't get that by sitting in a couch. This girl doesn't walk in a gymnasium with all that power on her already, she developed it with a lot of hard work.

This is exactly the same coded language you heard before from these people when talking about Serena: "oh oh oh she 's too much powerful". that means without power she wouldnt have won. SMH

Rique Busta so apparently she’s training it, and she said to hopefully unveil it at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, of course now she can’t have it named after her, because Kenzo already successfully competed the move first, but still, if she actually manages to land it, she will be the first woman to SUCCESSFULLY compete it, because a Japanese female gymnast(which I forgot the name of) did compete and train it, but never successfully landed it in competition

@@anthonycastillo1851 this is incorrect. Kenzo has it named in the men's code, but it can still be named after Simone in the women's code.

Anthony Castillo just like aromatichicken said Simone can still get it named after her since MAG and WAG CoP is different. Just like her Biles vault is already named after someone in MAG but since it had never been competed in WAG it was named after her. Kenzo is amazing he already has his name also on the 3 1/2 Yurchenko. Simone is more than capable to do the TTY in my opinion.

Dont get too overconfident. You dont want to watch American gymnasts having more temper tantrums in TV in 2016 when they crack under the pressure and miss out on the AA medal - because they were far too over confident. I fully expect to see more US gymnasts in Rio acting like babies - like Aly Raisman and Jordan Wieber. They were so UNPROFESSIONAL in London.

SereniaSaissa What the hell are you talking about? How were Aly and Jordyn acting like babies? Jordyn cried - because she didn't make the All-Around final. Do you not understand? She was the reigning WORLD and AMERICAN champion. Everyone was EXPECTING her to take gold over everyone else. But she cheered on her teammates louder and harder than anyone else in the stadium. And Aly displayed extremely strong sportsmanship consistently throughout the competition.

Definitely didn’t peak too early. 😆 Reading this years later in 2019 when she’s still unquestionably the best gymnast in the world, basically a lock for the 2020 Olympic team as long as she avoids injury and still rolling out insane new skills nobody else can pull off with any kind of consistency. She hasn’t even peaked yet as far as I can tell because so far she’s only gotten better even with a 2-year break after Rio.

I would too, but realistically the chances are kind of low. Simone, maybe, if she can stay healthy, but peaking right after the Olympics usually isn't a good sign as far as hanging around for the next one. They are all going to be "old" by then and will have to contend with an insane amount of talented, younger competitors. I'm betting the team we'll see will be comprised mostly of just barely sixteen year olds.

SereniaSaissa In gymnastics it is not unusual for a gymnast to shine for a single year and then disappear. Gabby did not go back to training after the Olympics, opting instead to tour the country. Then she left Chow's gym to go to L.A. to be with her family. While there, she trained without a coach or any serious intensity. She has only recently returned to her old gym and resumed high level training. She is currently at the Karolyi ranch and making good progress, but don't expect to see her back very soon. She might be at the level she needs by the fall.
