Did you use an impact driver to loosen the 3 screws that hold the actuator into the door before you used a regular screw driver? And did you have to roll down the window to get the clearance to remove everything? Have to do my front passenger actuator.
sorry bro this video is been a while but i think i used my dewalt impact driver in here ..about the window dont remember anymore if i roll it up or down watch the video few times bro
I just did this on my 09 Fit (thanks for the video!) and can confirm an impact driver (with a big enough bit) was necessary. Definitely need the window up to do this too.

Did you have issues with the door locks going crazy and locking/unlocking by themselves? It looks like that unit has the locking solenoid in it- is that correct?

Same here. I had to watch a few different videos and read through comments to figure out the trick: get a small screwdriver (or something else metal), put it in the little space between the rod and the metal piece it’s hooked into, and use it as a lever to force them apart. And wear gloves while doing so, since when it comes apart your hand will fly into sharp metal 😬
