Got similar issue. You got any tips on how to remove the carpet to get all the water from underneath? My car was jacked up, so all the water ran to the back carpet.
Thank you for this video. I have a passenger leak under glove box after heavy rains. It filled up my whole floor. I checked moon roof plugs, but both drain as they should. Now my car accessories will come on, but it won't start or crank. I will check the drain plug you show here. Do I have to remove the battery to access it? Thanks again!
You may not have to remove the battery to access the drain plug. However, it depends on the specific make and model of your Infiniti G37. To find out, you can check the owner's manual or do an online search for the location of the drain plug on your car. Once you find the drain plug, clear it of any debris to allow the water to drain properly. If the problem persists, you may need to have the electrical system of your car inspected for any water damage.
@@BestCarFixes Thank you for your fast response! It's a 2009 G37x sedan. I found the fuse/relay box by the battery, but couldn't remove it to look for the drain plug. It's 0 degrees so I'll have to wait until it warms up.👍
@@itswavyfr Water was still draining through the plugs, but also dripping into my car. We removed the plug, cut the end piece off to allow better flow, inserted a thick plastic straw. We couldn't find any blockage, but did the above steps before putting it back. There's also a foam or rubber gasket that sits between the drain plug and firewall. That looked a little worn and flat, so we flipped it around. No leaks after that. If it continued, the next step would've been to replace the gasket.
How can I program it? I raised up my carpet today and see some water not as much as this car but. I suspect water is causing my park switch and my door switch not to work.? Any recommendations how to seal the leaking
whats up bro , currently dealing with a no cranks issue. ignitions turns on but starts doesn’t turn. i’m thinking of checking ipdm next to see if any fuses or relays are bad
@@BestCarFixes thanks for the reply, bought a new ecu and bcm but i need to get the bcm programmed since the “no key” in the middle of the dash shows up.
Hey man I have an infinity g37x and my driver window has been down while it’s been raining. I’ve been without it for 2 months would I still be able to drive or can you contact me directly
