Customer complained about a high pitched whining noise coming from the left side of his engine. After multiple trips to us, I finally heard the sound... Found an awesome technical service tip on BRP's Dealer Knowledge Center that pointed me right to the issue!

Hello i have a whining noise on a 2015 Rt-s coming from left side but only when after 50 mph and only when i use the throttle. If il let down the throttle the whining sound stop immediatly and come back immediatly if i use it again. Is your problem is the same because the deler doesn't find the problem of my rt-s. Thanks

It's a very rare fitment issue. I never seen or heard of it before. It became more annoying to the customer, as the noise would occur more frequently, so I looked into it...

Man .. brand new bike and it has those issues already .. Warranty should still be in effect right?

Oh yeah, warranty will cover this. It was more of an annoyances than a issue. But it needs to be perfect on a fairly new unit like this one.
