Good video. I did this a few months ago on my daughters 2017 RAV4. When we picked up the new pump at the local dealer, I asked how many pumps they had in stock and was told 190!! 😯I'd have to say this is a common failure point on these vehicles. Maybe a better gasket is needed? With the pink coolant, it was pretty easy to see the pump was leaking. Dried pink coolant all around it. There was even some slung onto the hood insulation cover. I also had the same issues as you did with the alternator bracket ears; had to use a pry bar to get it out and widen the ears to get it re-installed, otherwise the job is pretty straight forward.

Great job! This would be 3rd one I've done. Other than that solid cars. Wouldn't it be a good idea to swap out the thermostat at this time as well?
