that was great. now my truck didn't come with fog lights but I did put in a new headlite switch in the dash that has the fog lite button. will that all I will need besides the harness
this harness doesn’t require the switch. mine originally didnt come with fog lights either. the harness makes it so that the fog lights automatically go on when the headlights go on
Dope video bro but real quick do you buy the bumper with the fog lights in them already or a bumper with just the cut out and install the fog lights too ?
Where did you get the lights? I have a 2016 and I’m trying to make sure I get the right lights and bumper so everything will fit. I have a wt so I’m doing everything aftermarket
Have you looked into the gm switch to see if you can turn them on and off? I want to do this to mine but I also want to be able to control it and still have it look stock inside the cab of the truck

Hi, so when I clicked gen5 site it sent me to item 250220 is for 2014-2015. Is this the correct harness to get for a 2016? How is this different from the one I was thinking of getting for my 2016 silverado (item250222) which specifies 2016-2018 1500 only? I should get the one that indicates 2016-2018 harness then right? Sorry for asking so much I Js want to make sure I get the right harness

your original brackets off your bumper will work bro. they have the mounting for the fogs already. so all you need is a bumper with the holes for the fogs, the fogs themselves & the harness
@@dopezamora when I clicked there’s two options a 2014-2015 harness and then a 2016-2019 harness wiring. Should I click the 2016-2019 one then? Mines a 2016 single cab
no you cannot..only when the daytime running lights are on, the fog lights come on..headlights come on, fog lights are on...you can switch the auto light switch inside the truck to turn the all the lights off
I think Phil Gamboa fabricates his own harness similar to this, that can be wired to the OEM headlight/fog light switch if you buy it. I have the harness showed in this video for my 2014 Silverado but it's annoying not being able to turn on/off my fogs whenever I want
