installed mine last week... had to adjust the lights a bit, something that should be added to the install instructions, adjust them before you button everything up.. anyway..love them!
Can someone let me know if they ever get the 2021 sr5 premium harness or a light that can fit...theses are my favorite lights and a lot of 2021 owners are missing out...
@@gordonsmith6896 I made that mistake and had to make to return them 😂 $1325 mistake it sucks they don’t have one for our model...as soon as they do I’m definitely getting it even if I have to starve myself to pay for it
Just purchased for my 2020 limited nightshade 4runner! Hope there is no problem with the fit? I read the one comment about a slight adjustment! I hope they arrive by next Monday so when they do the lift I can have them installed at the same time! Keeping my fingers crossed!
These headlights fit just like OEM! The only thing that you'll need to do is aim the headlights. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-03fHzDEHVV4.html
When that piano black finish starts lifting and bubbling 2 months in, are you going to actually honor the warranty or are you going to blame it on "being in the sun" and tell the customer to get bent again?
Sam - there have been some issues with Silverado and Ram lights from the Sun, but no others to date. We are working with Morimoto and any customer who notifies us of the problem to make sure they're taken care of with a replacement set of updated lights as soon as possible.
Freaken Beautiful Retrofit dude! You guys always do such beautiful professional work!! Just curious, if I send you a stock 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse headlights . Would you guys be able to do a cool custom retrofit for me ?
Could you please do a video for the 2020 4Runner? It is not the same bumper removal process, as it has Toyota Safety sense. Could not figure out how to disconnect the bumper.
I just installed my Morimoto head lights. Very easy to install, if you don't mind removing the entire front plastic bumper. I do have issues with my head lights. The right high beam is inoperable and the left high beam will not is always illuminated when the lights are on. Any information on how to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.
That should not be happening at all, if you could email into us one of our specialists can totally get that taken care of for you! Support@TheRetrofitSource.com
i noticed on another install video for running the DRL wire to the inj fuse... on the 2020 the line of fuses where the inj fuse is raised and once installed you cannot completely close the fuse panel top... would you guys know of a alternate location to place the DRL line?
You would either want to use another ignition on fuse for that vehicle, or if you really wanted to you could slightly modify the fuse box to make it fit that harness. I would recommend just finding another ignition on fuse, and if you need any help with that you can just email into us! Support@TheRetrofitSource.com
With these after market headlights, what happens when one of the bulbs burns out? Do you have to buy the whole headlight unit again? Or are the bulbs replaceable?
If one of the LEDs burns out the unit does have to be replaced, they are sealed and non-serviceable. With the warranty, a deposit for the new light would need to be placed, once we receive the defective unit and check it your deposit would be refunded.
@@RetrofitSource thanks for the response. I'm looking at purchasing within the next 2 weeks. But didnt want to purchase and then they go on sale during Black Friday or Christmas.
my 2020 4runner limited got some issue with the hyperblinker. I know they need a set of resistor to solve this problem. Do you guys have the link to purchase the resistors?
Not sure if you have checked out the cost of the OEM LED headlights for that vehicle, but with the costs of those headlights, and the fact that you do not get the updated design or the 5-year warranty, you really can't beat the XB LED Headlights!
Only if you have a late production model 2013 that's the same body and headlights as a 2014... Chances are they will not fit your 2013. If you need confirmation, just email us a picture of your 4Runner.
