I was wearing mine the other day, I went to the mall with my wife, someone passes me by and says... "There's your problem lady!" Bear in mind, I am in Costa Rica. Amazing... I wonder when the S&A ones will come out.

Does it affect the AC functions?i have the same code on e36i and the blower is going low whenever you press the accelerator thanks

Hi how long will the code take to clear after replacing thermostat? I tried to remove with a scanner but it says it can’t be removed because it’s a permanent code

Permanent codes cant be cleared. They are "self healing", which means, when driven at similar conditions in which the code was set, it will clear as long as the system no longer detects the fault

@@SAAutoRepair thank you I did the replacement and started the car up for a few minutes turned it back off and then started it to drive it and check engine light was gone so I’m going to assume it already reset itself because the issue was fixed
