I bought a 4K mike 14 in 2015 and still have it. While I agree that the previous model body style looks nicer to me the outside, the 2014+ models have a much nicer interior and drive to me. As well, I got the 5.3, which is 355 hp and hugely powerful, but I still get 19 mpg in mine.

How do you like it?

I got the v8 and I'm getting 16 mpg average though they claimed 19 MPG combined. The cruise button is ur best friend.

Yes, very quiet. I am very pleased. Also, the V6 DOES feel a lot like a V8.. PLENTY of power for general purposes, and I have hauled a LOT of compost ;)...Driving conservatively on the highway (62-68mph) I regularly get 22.2-22.7MPG. Pretty outstanding engine, IMH. -But between 72-78, the armrest has an annoying vibration...

It is. 10 years ago you could get a brand new but basic standard cab, 4.8 V8, 4x4, 6.5 ft bed for around $18k where I grew up. A similarly equipped 2wd V6 for around $15-16k. A mid level, extended cab in the mid 20s with the smaller V8 and 4x4. Truck prices are ridiculous these days. It’s the working mans vehicle with a desk jockey’s price tag. And I don’t want to hear the whole inflation argument because that’s total bs. Inflation has not caused trucks to see a 100+% increase in price. Corporate greed has seen that jump in price. More office workers with high 5 and 6 figure incomes than ever daily drive pickups, and that’s why we see an increase in price. These people will continue to buy and drive them at the higher price, and the working man will continue to be forced to kill himself just to afford something he actually needs to do his job.

jahen vazquez 0-60 is 1/4 of a second off from the 0-60 on the 5.3 L the top speed is limited to 98 but in cruise control you can get it to about 110 these trucks hang with 5.3s all day long even my truck on a 4 inch lift with 20x12s and 34s 😂

I refuse to believe that truck was 38k. No way. Its the LT trim and a v6. No one in their right mind would buy that for 38k

Jesse Hernandez List price is just over $38k with the LT and Allstar package. I just bought the exact same truck. I paid just over $29k plus tax after discounts and rebates. No one pays list for these.

I dont know of a single one that sold for that much. I paid 30 for my 4x4 work truck in 15 as the short model line ended.

Why do you say that conky? I ask you in the good way, because my new 4.3 engine spends a lot of gas almost the same like a v8 engine. I dont like the quality of the plastics in general

I purchased one of these v6 silverado just like the one in this video and im averaging 19.8 with alote of hills on back roads during the work week. No freeway driving. When i stretch the legs out on the weekend i get 25 combined. This going by onboard computer.

Nothing wrong with my 13 its bin to numerous GM dealers and none of them can find a issue its just one of them trucks that's just a pig on fuel its bin like this from new. Iv had two 5.3 motors and both were terrible on fuel so I'll won't be buying another 5.3 that's for sure.

Are you kidding? Mine has electric power steering, 6 speed automatic. 285HP V6 that gets 21 MPG (mine does) has MyLink, XM, bluetooth, color LCD screen, heated mirrors, 6,000 pound towing capacity......this isn't AT ALL like previous silverados.

I've officially changed my opinions on the 2014 Silverado. Mine has been in the shop 8 times since November. Currently has 5600 miles. Numerous u unexplained engine codes.....at 4000 miles the tires were cupped and after fighting GM I got them replaced. well since new the truck has had a vibration between 70~75mph. dealer has given up on trying to fix it. I have a lemon lawsuit pending.

Yeah. I tried trading it in on a tundra. But the new Silverado doesn't hold its value so well. I'm stuck with it until the case is settled. I'm shooting for buyback

Andre Robinson Absolutely not, it feels like a 4 banger it's so slow, def doesn't get as good MPGs and any person that can afford one isn't worried since all new trucks come with a warrantee..

My 4.3 averages 19 mpg. 80% city driving and 20% highway. It’s a god damn fuel efficient engine that literally feels like a v8.

I have a ‘14 with the 5.3 and get 19 average, in mixed driving. If that’s all you get with the V6, I’d never have one. No reason.
