Did you get a engine fault message before all that happened Because I'll get the engine to crank Like it's going to start but it won't turn over. It's weird I can turn the key all the way like I'm starting let it go and it will just keep cranking for about 15 seconds if that and then it just stops trying to turn over and it's not my battery it's new I don't think it's my starter or my alternator.
Same. We have replaced SO MANY things and still having the same exact issue. The engine light will be on, it will throw the wrench and engine fault message, but so far no readers can read the codes, which is frustrating. Def not the starter, fuel pump, alternator, or timing chain. Did any of you get resolution? Is there another name for the "relay switch"?
I have got three questions My ford escape 2014 EcoBoost engine I tried looking for the fuel pump relay you mentioned and I couldn't find it on fusebox located on the engine bay 2. Where did u find yours 3. Pls could you give a more illustrative video as this had a lot of run arounds before u finally broke the ice cheers mate 👍
How do you reset it? I’m having the same issue after replacing the pcv valve. It’s driving me crazy. Oh…. When it starts the revs go to 5000 and it doesn’t let me accelerate. I already replaced the TPS valve with throttle body. It still does the same thing.
