You forgot to replace the crush washer on the oil plug and to use a torque wrench to torque the oil plug to 30 foot pounds on the Civic is standard procedure on Hondas from a technician point of view.
nah mine was on and I went to American good tire like 4 times. It's something in the computer, go to the dealership you bought the car from and they should be able to fix it after they test drive. Or a Honda dealership If you got it off someone else
I was thinking exactly the same thing. Lol. For its been habit from day one. Fill the oil filter with oil then spread some on the filter seal then put it on.
Those skid plates are a fucking scam. Their only purpose is to prevent you from changing your own oil by making it impossible to remove the screws without stripping them.
