You really don't realize how often you say the word "so", until you make a RU-vid video. Hope this helps a bit with the removal and install of your spark plugs.
As a mechanic. Solid video man! Those “one time use” hose clamps are always fine to reuse just have to make sure they line back up in the original position where the imprint is.
Ya I'm never really too worried about them. I've read some people like to change small ones out after every use because of how inexpensive they are, but I agree with you.
@@Trytec96 I just did the job last night after watching this. Wasn’t too bad. Worst part was those damn clamps the heat blanket and getting that damn metal tab back through the upper try for the push clip. Great editing man. Took out all the swearing and frustration making me think it was easy. lol start to finish in 1.5 hrs and I’m experienced. Definitely would have saved it for a Saturday if I knew tho.
@Jackson14 haha ya I'm never a fan of having to do the spark plugs. I should have taught the gf to do it so she could get her tiny hands in there easier than I can haha.
Just like pretty all ur comments are saying, great vid! I have a 2013 r6 and a 2008 gsxr 600. Definitely the gsxr for me is easier for me. I hate doing a plug change out on the r6! U Definitely have to have the swivel for 1 and 4. Wish I would have had this video in 2013, I had to learn just by getting in to it. Yup all ur stuff is correct. Ride safe man
Thanks, appreciate that. They're made by Pro Grip. Can't remember which ones. Once I get back into town at the end of the week, I'll link the exact ones I have on. Definitely pleased with them though.
The part where he says “we may not have to undo that one” at 10:30 Where does that hose lead to. I ended up taking it off yesterday and don’t see where I’m supposed to hook it back up to
Trytec I realized where it went. It’s the one that connects to the right side of the air box, but thanks for the video. This was one of the most annoying spark plug changes I’ve done lol. This definitely helped though
I believe before I disconnected any fuel lines, I disconnected the battery. You just can't see it in the video. Mentioning to disconnect the battery in the video would have been good to add though
