I got the gt350 version for my 350, they ended up snapping one of the fender bolts, and I just went back to my prop rod.

I just installed these struts on my 2020 Mustang GT. While the hood and fender brackets are marked "L" and "R," the struts aren't, yet they are side specific. The strut for the driver's side has the "M" at top; the strut for the passenger's side has the flag at the top. If you have to unsnap the ball sockets in the fittings, you do so by sliding the plate on top of the ball down while you lift it a little. Take it from me , these suckers will never come out under normal wear and tear.

i know you're question was from 4 months ago, but I literally just put them on 5 minutes ago on my 2018 ecoboost. easy to install, but just be careful not to lose one of the brackets into the inner fender well like I did lmao. The first thing I immediately noticed was that the hood does not go up as high as before due to the struts. I can tell because with these struts I can no longer get the hood prop rod into the hole unless I could get the hood to lift higher. it's not a drastic difference, but a difference none the less.
