2015 Cadillac Escalade Off-Road Review: Slade Finally Gets Dirt Under the Nails 

Not to start a fire or anything.. .but the front clip on that caddy looks incredibly bland and CHEAP....

This is literally the only video I've watched on RU-vid that shows a Cadillac Escalade driving off-road. Appreciate it for bothering to even attempt it, and thanks for uploading.

If I were rich I would definitely buy a Cadillac Escalade! It's such a beautiful vehicle both inside and out!

I don't understand why people don't like the CUE and find it difficult. I have no problem with the CUE in my CTS. I LOVE the CUE system. Again I personally don't understand.

My family has this car and the interior is so nice. One of the best interiors I have ever seen.

The Range Rover is the better bet for off-roading, but if you want to make a presence pulling up somewhere, go for the Escalade, it looks great in the front.

Wouldn't expect anyone from TFL to stoop to the low level of saying CUE is confusing. My ten year old daughter can operate CUE. Yes, it's a pinch "laggy" in the 2014 CTS but she can operate it fine. CUE 2.0 rolling out in 2016 Caddy's have addressed this issue but anyway, once you get it through your thick head that it's not an iPad it's pretty elementary to use/operate. #Btw I never call you guys on BS but the end cap where the dash meets the door on the Escalade was a big portion they paid attention to (according to Cadillac designers). I've personally tapped all over the new Escalade's interior and didn't find what you found.

Love the escalade for sure, but just like the guy mentioned, the wheels alone are as much as his freaking mortgage. I'll take a Suburban with the same passenger capacity and comfort plus a camaro rather then one escalade that you would be too scared to take offroading during camp anyway.

i went with 20" rims 275/55r20 on my TAHOE Rides alot Softer with Chinese SAILUN ice blazer wst2 winter tires Summer run the Stock 6 spoke gloss black 285/45r22 Bridstone alenza - rides HARSH! and WAY HEAVIER !!!!!!!!!!

As a Cadillac exclusive, not shared with GMC or Chevy, the Escalade should have IRS.

It's 2018 and honestly I think I would still believe it's a latest model if it was placed in a showroom.

He did say they are 22 inch wheels, several times. Was wondering how much difference it would make if you put 20 inch wheels on it. I did drive my Yukon Denali on similar terrain, but it had 20 inch wheels. I have a 2018 Escalade now with 22 inch wheels and I still swear that the 20 inch wheels will give you a better ride. However, the dealer says I shouldn’t put 20 inch wheels on it because it voids the warranty? If any one has an answer to this I’d love to hear it. Thanks for putting this vehicle out there to see what it’s capable of doing.

Remember how terrible the interiors were in the Escalade? They reminded me of early 90's cars. This looks like it's been improved, definitely not something I'd ever own though

Too bad the Cadillac are now being manufactured in China. The parts especially the by grilles are looking like cheap junk. I have a 1956 Cadillac Fleetwood. That's is real American made car. I will never buy a Chinallac.

Some piece of boxy shitty truck that can't even off-road... Who needs an SUV that doesn't have any ground clearance and knowing that you can get stuck in snow or dirt while off-roading and can damage or scratch your bumper... Rear taillights are fugly and too boxy which makes it look like an alien spaceship at night.

Two standard features that come with almost all GM SUV's and truck's that everyone hates. The ultra-low front splitter. Why is it even needed ? ... And the lower front suspension. I understand how the rear is higher in the back on trucks so that when loaded it would be leveled. But why do it in SUV's. Not a lot of people use SUV's as a utility vehicle.

Interior does look nice, but poor build quality of any kind is unacceptable on a truck of this price.

This car is nice looking, tall, but personally if I was able to afford it, not just stretch to it on lease, but actually easily afford it, I would take it to California and have it bulletproofed, made realible, then I would forever and never get another car.

In your 0-60mph video you guys said it was 14mpg city. Not 15... Did it somehow get more fuel efficient?

So basically its a very nice comfortable and powerful family hauler that would be good for long trips. Plus I guess it would be good in snow and able to handle a somewhat rough country road?

You put together some good shows. However, the music isn't contributing much. Just gives the show the feeling that you're watching a television show. Its a guy show. I think most guys just want mechanical eye, good information, and some excitement.

I have a 14 CTS and no problem with the CUE. If you can work a tablet, you know the CUE. I see this model at the dealership, it is huge.

My Mercedes-Benz GL third row seats are just a nice and just as fast.

What do you guys think about the third row seats in the Navigator L & The Escalade ESV? Is the newer escalade worth the trade off for the more legroom in the lincoln?

honestly what gain will you get with the chin spoiler? I took it off my old silverado and still got the same MPG. It looked a little higher too.
